Absolutely not somewhere I'd recommend. I spend 8 months out of the year in 5 star hotels for work and this one by far has the worst reception. The hotel and other staff is superlative. Reception isn't par. I had confirmed res. before I left. ✓ I arrived with conformation number, presented (24245718) it. She told me I was at wrong location and sent me on a 2 hour wild goose chase only to return to her where she still messed up and over charged my card by $380 for 1 night people. I used 1500 accumulated stay points and still got charged overly. Not surprised that the points I used are none refundable because I caught the over charge directly and was not given any reason or reformation that my money would be returned. Not to mention customer service tried to sale "comp"me a free 3 day 4 night vacation at my choice of 3 locations in Florida that was in reality a time share that again charged me $198.89. I honestly feel scamed. They don't deserve the 1 star I reluctantly gave before this. Beware.

Texas Iron

The staff here is excellent. They go out of their way to take very good care of you. I would especially recognize Rachel, Kristen, and Theo. Rachel is always a joy to deal with at the desk, always greets me with a smile and is always ready and willing to help in any way. Theo, just met him tonight as he was learning the bartending game, but he was doing a wonderful job and was a joy to deal with. Kristen, she's never anything less than at the top of her game -- whether it's behind the bar, running food, or at the desk. I stay here every week, at least 2 or 3 nights per week, and I get the feeling just watching that she basically keeps this place in business. In all honesty, if I ever come in and she's not here anymore, it will be my last stay.

As an ambassador diamond member I stay in ALLOT of IHG hotels. And this one is by far one of my all time favorites. Want good food? Vicki will make you forget there are restaurants in town. Need a nice drink and good company? Mark is a fantastic time and his customers come first at all times. So.ething wrong with your room or need an amazing inviting smile? Emily will make you feel at home. I suggest this hotel over any 5 star hotel in the area. Rooms are clean. Water is hot. Breakfast is delicious. 5stars all day every day!!!

Positive: Staff was very friendly and the in-house restaurant was very convenient after a long day and early morning workdays. Room was very spacious and the bed was very comfortable. I also had more premium channels available compared to other hotels I¿ve staye Negative: Bathroom shower had no hot water and a mildew smell. The latter was corrected (mostly) by housekeeping. Unfortunately the evening maintenance didn¿t correct the former the night before I checked out.
