Just be ready to feel like you are being scammed 24/7 :) When I signed my lease I was told I would be able to get a parking spot. Then once I moved in was told there were none left and I’d be added to the waiting list. I never got one! My car was towed on a Sunday night at 3am even though I was in a spot I always parked in and was allowed to park in, it cost almost $400 and they placed the blame on the towing company and didn’t help me get any kind of refund. They charged me a monthly $15 “breezy” fee, which I later found out was their insurance, even though I had my own insurance and they had confirmed that they received it. They promised a refund for this over the phone but never gave it to me. When moving out they told me the most I would owe would be $15-30 for wall paint touch ups, then charged me $100 for “carpet cleaning” with no additional info, even though I went out of my way to schedule a walk-through to avoid this exact kind of ridiculous extra charge I knew they would try to give me based on past experiences. And in the walk-through they said the carpet looked fine. Just incredibly frustrating. Also will charge so many extra fees monthly and there is no way to predict how much it will be month to month. There was always multiple pest removal charges even when there were no visits by pest removal?

Apartament is good, but LEASING STAFF IS WORST. They always look for reason to charge you extra, doesn’t let you feel comfortable even with all the money we pay monthly. LEASING STAFF is not at all accommodating and doesn’t go out of way to help residents, i feel they should get more hospitality training, so that they treat customers with compassion & respect. Other details i will try to post in pros & cons for simplicity. PROS: 1. Nice lake behind, overall good locality, very close to I-635 2. Loved the high ceiling in phase-2 apartments. 3. I prefer the bathroom layout in these apartments. 4. Apartment insulation is good, construction quality is satisfying CONS: 1. Not helpful leasing staff 2. Not gated, open community. Many sales ppl come and knock my door for donations and to sell staff. I feel its not safe sometimes. 3. Not enough guest parking- IF YOUR GUEST DIDN’T PARK IN GUEST PARKING, THERE CAR WILL BE TOWED AND END UP PAYING $320. BAD OVERALL EXPERIENCE FOR GUESTS. SO TRY TO GIVE INSTRUCTIONS PROPERLY IF YOU DECIDE TO MOVE HERE. Also they only allow 1 car per resident, so best of luck if you have more cars. 4. They don’t waive late fees for first time delays, so better be careful or setup autopay. Late fee is $125

The apartments are nice but the management is horrible. When I first moved there in 2016, Ashley Rodriguez was extremely helpful and provided excellent customer service. Management changed and then things went downhill after Ashley left. Celeste was the new manager and she was the worst. She was very slow to respond to my concerns and did not take my concerns seriously. I had to complain several times about the same issue in order for her to take any action. Shay was very nice and helpful though, and so was Zach. The maintenance guys are sketchy, so beware. One time a maintenance man was banging on my door and asked to come inside so he could access a pipe outside of the back of my apartment when he could have simply accessed it from outside by hopping over the fence. I did not feel comfortable with him coming into my apartment, so I told him no, and he seemed angry. Another time, another maintenance guy came to fix my blinds and he brought another guy with him that I’ve never seen before. The other guy did not have on the maintenance uniform, so I asked him who he was and he said he was new and didn’t have his uniform yet. After that, I never saw that guy again around the complex, which was very disturbing. Another maintenance guy would always stare at me, and appeared to be high on drugs on several occasions. A lot of residents don’t pick up their dog’s poop, which is disgusting. Several other residents walk around the complex with their dogs off the leash, which is even more dangerous. The restricted breeds of dogs is not honored at all because people will say their restricted breed is a “service dog”. There were off leash German Shepherds and several Pit Bulls in the complex. I had to call Animal control because our neighbors’s two dogs, one of which was a pit bull, kept coming into our yard and pooping. The residents are not supposed to let their dogs outside unattended, especially when you have a yard that can easily access your neighbors yard. The dogs pooped so much in my yard that I couldn’t go outside without stepping in poop, and the neighbors didn’t care to pick it up, and management did nothing about it until I called Animal Control. The dogs also came on my patio and growled at me, which was even more unsettling because management (Celeste) did not enforce any rules. Parking is a nightmare and it’s really hard to find a spot close to your apartment. Most of the times, we’d have to park far away and take a long walk to our apartment, which was very inconvenient. I would stay away from this complex.

The staff is friendly, lots of amenities and events held through out my time of living here. I attend each event btw lol! I notice a lot of reviews talk about parking issues but its really not that serious, the leasing agents go over and explain to you very well their community policies so that you are aware, people just do not listen or read. m car was towed once and I couldn't blame nobody but myself in the end take accountability it all apart of growing and elevating. I love my apartment its beautiful inside and out! If you're looking for a nice home I would recommend mercer crossing 2x!!
