Lakewood Y is the best! 24 years now and still moving like an old teenager. But have to mention one fault; what happened to the water hose, in the steam room? Gotta get it back up and running. It's been in there, for over 24 years. Yeah, we all know that someone cleans it twice daily. No, it doesn't make people stay in there longer. No, it's not left on. And no, to all the other excuses that you come up with. Seriously, WE NEED IT!

I wish they would answer their phones and return emails. I have emailed several times with no response and have tried to call multiple times to speak with a person. Every time I get the same recording and am sent to voicemail. Nobody returns my call. I am left with no choice but to cancel my membership. They are missing their mark when it comes to customer service :-(

these are the rudest people I have ever encountered working with our children. I received three consecutive calls from a Pierce County YMCA and when I returned the call the woman was very rude and asked me to stop calling. it was the first time I had called and she said they were getting repeated calls and after I had informed her that I was getting repeated calls from that number. I would never put my children in a place where someone who talks to the public the way she talked to me is working. if she hit does not have the proper conduct to speak to an adult how was she talking to your children when you're not around. I did not get her name but the number I called is 253 405

Yes, kind of. These are different Associations, like franchises, but there is reciprocal use between most of them. You will need to select which area you would use most and likely join in that area but use to the other should be reciprocal.

This is the association's administrative office. The closest facility branch with a rock climbing wall is the Morgan Family YMCA on Pearl St.
They except Optum Fitness Advantage and At Your Best. You would need to check with United Healthcare to see if you have either of those benefits or come into a branch to see if they can verify ther you have that benefit.
