For some services this place is amazing 2nd floor anytime you need help or assistance with your power bill this is the place to come the ladies behind the counter were amazing quick and very knowledgeable. If you're going to the 1st floor for detox.. Parade at 1st I thought this was my guiding light and my savior however it turned out after 4 days I was done or actually they were done with me and they asked me to leave kindly but again it was not a great experience.

When you need help they sincerely try to find it for you. Not just with keeping the lights and water on. Weatherization programs major repairs that they even work with landlord's to upgrade properties for tenants. They work with Tacoma Public Utilities, Puget Sound Energy. If they cannot help they will try to channel you to someone who can.

I believe they have help with housing as well as power. Power help is once a year. I have got help from Salvation Army as well for power.

I tried to get help from then every time it was i need to bring more paperwork after being assured that the documents were all in order i do believe they help those who they want to pretty tragic
Yes, MDC partners with agencies in the Tacoma area as well as the middle schools, highschools, and colleges to assist with education/employment resources.

I filled the utilities aid forms on10/14/19. Many have recurved their aid checks, an many have not! 11 weeks? I'm worried they ran out of money or ??? With out. Thinking lost? Ran out of funds? Hmmmm! Could sure use it! Merry Christmas MDC! U use to be helpful curtious, HAPPY to help, now just a answering machine woman and or Man up! U could have said something!
They have change the people that work there since my last review. I do not think that this agency is There to help lower income people. They would rather kick a person out into the street then tell the truth and face the consequences of their actions. SHAME on you MDC.
No public shower. Need to go to the YMCA or the Guadalupe House or try the Nativity House
You can confirm but I've been dealing with them for many years and never once have I heard them assisting opening a business or assisting in payroll for business or anything of that nature mainly it's just for low income people for homes and their electricity and things like that but if you like I do have their information if you do not
