Horrible and rude office staff. I’ve lived here for almost a couple of years and I still dread communication with them. Specifically Jaquita. Her attitude is all around unpleasant and the way that she deals with issues is unprofessional and condescending. I always pay my rent and I’ve never caused problems for them and yet she still speaks to me like I’m lower than her or like I’m a waste of her time. She has no idea how to communicate as a nice person. If you’re looking to live here then I highly suggest trying to speak to someone else if possible.

Severe Health Hazard. When working with mold you must take precautions not to expose spores. No professionals were contacted. A blower was put on the mold to "dry it out before closing up the wall." We are all so sick. It wasnt dealt with in correct way. Maintenance and other strange men come in and out, no privacy, not notice. The door was left open twice by the workers. Mold gets covered up not removed, it will spread and affect the entire building. No one seems to care. The basketball backboard is shattered, a girl got her legs amputated bc she cut her foot on the broken glass on the playground, then she ran through raw sewage. You would think after this happened they would be extra cautious. Sydenia(corporate and property manager) is only concerned about the surface and what would appear to state, common courtesy doesnt matter nor the actual health and safety of the residents. Sydenia is only gives excuses, no apologies, she doesnt even make sure that the work is actually done to "Bradford Lake Standards" she will lie to you to try to keep the peace and look good. Where does the money go? Hudd pays the rest of the rent for residents where does it go? Certainly not into the community. The website says professional maintenance staff yet I had a leak that wasnt addressed for ten years, regardless of my multiple requests. The walls were cut out while a maintenance man tried to cut the mold out from the surface, the core was never taken care of just covered up by a mold defense wall. The Mold is behind the particle board and will eventually spread. We have migraines, sinus issues, allergies, memory issues, dizzyness, face swelling, cant wear contacts, brain fog, lethargic, skin rashes. My daughter blacked out and has dark circles under her eyes. When we go away symptoms get better. She said "The apartment is killing us mom." I wish I had the funds to get out. This is not being taken care of. There is black hair growing out of the mold from the ceiling, I was told by Sydenia that it would be replaced, it was only ceiled so that I couldnt take the face plate off. The bathroom floor is still getting moisture trapped underneath. Glue was mixed with mold on the rubber base of the tub, it smells when removed, it will not dry hence the water getting trapped under the floor. One would think they would seal the rubber base of the tub. Hudd representative actually has a public post that she hates indianapolis residents. Why hire people that hate poor, vulnerable residents? Is it that hard to find decent people to work here? Ive contacted so many CRF reps and get no answers only told its being worked on. Dumping sand and logs halfway on the basketball court and playground doesnt constitute as being fixed.

The manager, Daniel doesn't seem to take care of the serious problems in the apartments. We had a hot stream of water that came out of a bathtub faucet for at least 3 weeks it didn't get take care of until we came home one evening to find it was about to flood the apartment. He seems to take of the grounds, but not the units themselves. The carpets are cleaned once every three years. Smokers are mixed in buildings with non-smokers and the second hand smoke can be smelled in the non-smokers apartments. They do not clean air ducts on a regular basis because they don't feel that is necessary. The doors & walls are thin and old so you can hear conversations, etc. coming from the apartments next door, the sliding glass doors are single pane and cold air comes in around the door. The laundry room was closed for a few months and now it is open but not cleaned on a regular basis. Daniel seems to make a lot of excuses and have an attitude when you communicate the problems. I would consider these things before living there. All the Best!
