I lived here for almost two years and really enjoyed it. Samantha in the office is great! She was always great about being available by phone or in the office. When I moved out there were no false charges or scamming. The only reason I give this place a four star is because the walls are pretty thin. The floors creaking above me were a bit much and I was very familiar with my neighbors music taste. If you can get past that it's a great place to live.

2019-07-16 Wish I could give a Three-and-a-half star, but here we go. From a management perspective, Foster Greens over the past five years has improved greatly. Hours are a little wonky sometimes, but Samantha is very responsive and does her best with what Corporate allows to keep rent low for respectful members of the community like myself and many others. She is also does a lot to engage the community by doing "Club Events" for residents. To be fair, it's been the only time I'm social recently, so I would highly recommend just for the fun! Up until about two weeks ago, Jose was our best maintenance guy. Absolutely, hands down, the nicest guy I've had helping maintain the grounds and units. Renter beware though, even though the units are "updated", check your unit before you move in and ensure that things are in fact updated. Old windows, lack of full amenities (such as garbage disposal, working sliding windows and small bathroom ventilation) will be in your future if you don't check first. Rent is above market for the area, but it's safer than most communities, has cameras, and decent enough lighting. Parking is really difficult, even for residents, as I've already in my return, had three situations where people park in the numbered spots, and there are VERY few unnumbered (which means free, for those of you that think you want to park in a numbered spot). All-in-all, "nicer" appliances don't make up for the cost of thin walls, somewhat noisy neighbors occasionally and living right off a main road. It could be worse though. There are a lot of nice people living here and the staff are wonderful, but the cost of living is a bit above what I'd be "willing to pay" if it wasn't for the amenities. If you want to be a bus away from Seattle, this is a nice place to live with the most friendly property manager you'll ever meet.

I have never enjoyed an apartment complex like Fostergreens. Samantha is the best manager I have ever encountered. I have lived at my former apt for a little over 15 yrs and never and I mean never had the consideration and the respect a manager gives a resident. Samantha goes above and beyond making a resident feel at home. The apts are on the bus line and it is so quiet you don't realize you have neighbors. You let Samantha know what repairs need to be done and Jose is usually there as soon as possible to take care of the problem. Fostergreems may be a little pricier that some places but I look at the manager first and deal with the price. Samantha is one of the best and please never let her go any where else. The place would not be the same. She makes us feel so welcomed and tries her best to come up with things for the residents to do and for them to meet. Thank you Samantha and Jose for what all you two do for us here at Fostergreens Apartments in Tukwila.

Currently living here. The property manager William is extremely helpful. He has gone above and beyond to work with me and my fiancee with so many ridiculous issues that we've caused. Swapping out roommates, changing leases, changing units, getting us new appliances, etc. He has bent over backwards for us. Also, since he started as manager the property quality as improved dramatically. He does everything by the book, and holds people accountable in a fair and understanding way. This place is great, rent is affordable, and it's generally pretty quiet and nice. Only downside is the old appliances, but they will be remodeling all the units in the next year or two.
