This place rocks! Interactive body museum. Walked through a colon. Saw a huge heart have a cardiac moment. Pandemic displays. Perfect place to have "the talk" with your kids. Every function of our living bodies is on display. For an additional fee you can enter their lab and do experiments. Great job guys! JR

It was truly amazing!! I'm a teacher and my class of 3-4 year olds learned a lot and has since expressed their desire to go back. A beating ❤️, info about the "Plague", HIV/AIDS, The Inner Ear, How blood circulates, 🤯 how "Corn" grows and a host of other interesting facts about the "Human Body" and Life. I (myself) was overtaken with interest and had to control the urge to leave everyone and satisfy my own interest. 😃

Fun and educational for these two 69 year olds. My wife loved the gift shop items.

Great place for kids! Good for adults interested in human biology too. It's not that large so you don't have to worry about spending all afternoon and not seeing everything.
Probably call I know childrens museum is free with snap and zoo also has ebt discount
Thursday
Call and ask
No, I would not recommend this museum for any child less than 7 or 8 as it requires some physicality and a higher skill set.
It won't be as entertaining for a 10 month as the children museum would be. I think it's more for 4 and up
There is a ticket price of $10 for adults and $8 for children and seniors. If you park at the museum then you must pay for parking in the museum.
On Thursdays it's free my favorite days going 💯🫀🧠💪
Hi, Hannah! While we welcome toddlers, we do not have a dedicated play space for them. Families often enjoy having the toddlers on the carpeted space in the Amazing Body Pavilion.
Hi, Bella. The Health Museum permits service animals to accompany individuals with disabilities throughout the public areas of our facility. Non-service animals are not permitted. We look forward to your visit!
We are located at 1515 Hermann Drive, and the entrance to our surface lot is on Hermann Drive. Parking is $3 for members and $5 for non-members. We look forward to your visit!
Yes you must pay on regular days. A lot of Houston Museums (and I think the Zoo) have Free Entry on Thursdays though.
Not sure. When we went there, they have a promo on Thursday from 9 am to 3 pm, admission is free except for the cell lab. We didn't go to cell lab but I think it's appropriate for adults too.
I took two teenagers there and we spent about 2 1/2 hours there
They do not, but they have an area with tables and vending machines with food and drinks.
Members and children under 2 are free Adults $10 Children (3-12) $8 Senior (65+) $8
Yes, they open at 9 in the morning and close at 5
It's free for members Children 2 and under, free. Non-member adult, $10 Non-member child (3-12), $8 DeBakey cell lab, $5
