Terrible service. Didn’t get me into my appointment until almost an hour later. The first week I had my appointment the doctor did not make it clear that it was a break in my thumb and instead said it was dislocated. The next week I come in and the doctor informed us that it was actually a break and I would have to wear the cast for longer. Unfortunately I have bad eczema on my hands and due to the cast it was causing irritation. I explained this to the doctor and his response was, “well it’s going to be uncomfortable” and of no service to me the doctor informed me to get a new clean cast I would be charged $285. I would never consider going to this place ever again.

If I could leave a -5 I would. The most rude office staff EVER!! I broke my wrist two weeks ago out of state. I called this office to get an appt and again to see if they had received my medical records from TN. I was in pain & not getting any response. I called again & was very rudely told by Lela that SHE would call ME back when the doctor reviewed my records & decided if he would take my case. I called another office and was seen & treated the next day. As it turns out, it was a good thing I didn't wait on CH. Lela just called me (5 days later, on a Friday no less) to let me know that Dr. Lechner would not be able to help me with my wrist. I kindly (more kind that she was to me of course) told Lela that I had already been seen & treated by Blue Ridge Bone & Joint, four days ago!! People, do not waste your time on this practice. Unless you don't mind to wait, in pain, with broken bones almost a week, only to be told they can't help you. I will however sing the praises to high Heaven of BRBJ!! Their staff was very understanding, kind & quick to action. I will never go to anyone else and I will NEVER recommend anyone to this office. STAY AWAY!! You guys are just rude & in my opinion, in the wrong profession!

Worst staff members I have ever dealt with in 50+ years. The surgeons were highly recommended by my local GP. As requested by the office staff, I obtained the relevant medical records for review during an actual appointment. Based on TELCON experiences with the "front office" staff on two separate occasions and coupled with several other Google reviews over the last 2-3 years, this seems to be a recurring issue. Finally, this review is not a "black mark" on any of the practicing professionals, only the office staff.
