He treated my mother for rheumatoid arthritis. Turns out she didn't have rheumatoid arthritis. Over dosed her with methotrexate, it burned her mouth, esophagus and destroyed her red blood cells. She was hospitalized and had 2 blood transfusions. Before he increased her dose he never Checked her folic acid. This was about 6 years ago. He never checked on her. Wouldn't recommend him

Dr.Mendelson was a good doctor for me for several years...but the past 2 years have changed.They would call and change your appointment dates because he was going out of town.I have tried several times to get them to call me back about prescription refills and medical questions but they would never return my calls..My husband had ALS and I was going through avery hard time and had to cancel twice because of illness and not being able to leave him alone..I called 2 days in advancedabout having to reschedule an appointment because of an emergency...they told me they couldnt schedule me in for another ⁴ months??? I needed a refill on my xanax that he prescribed to me and they refused to fill it until I got seen...You can not instantly stop taking xanax!! It will make you very sick!! But they didnt care...I had to go to my other doctor and get prescription for a months worth so I could slowly take myself off of it...this a horrible thing to do to a person...I had been going there for over19 years...I never went back!!

Please do not waste your time seeing this Doctor. He misdiagnosed me and was quick to put me on prescription medicine before he even did labs to know exactly what was going on. His staff was also not helpful at all, not willing to answer any questions I had about the diagnoses they gave me over the phone. I requested to get my chart sent elsewhere for a second opinion and it took them TWO MONTHS to get my charts sent over, I called multiple times to check on them, and the dr himself had the nerve to call and ask NOT TO CALL THEIR OFFICE AGAIN. If he would have sent the information when I asked I wouldn’t have kept calling and requesting it. Therefore it took me two months longer than it should have to be seen by someone else and to get the help I so desperately wanted. When you’re diagnosed with an autoimmune disease it’s only natural to want to know the details about what’s going on with your body. These people did no explaining (gave me a diagnoses over the phone and said see ya in four months) and had absolutely NO bedside manner. I’m telling you, please find another doctor and DO NOT waste your time with this quack. He should not be practicing medicine.
