I had a procedure with Dr. Shrode and his team last week. Everything went well. They were timely and caring.

You better not want to reschedule or cancel. They don't call back and make it as hard as possible.

Be prepared to fill out a long online form that their system accepts, that no one ever sees or can find, after which you can expect almost daily phone calls, emails and texts asking for the same information, followed by countless reminders for weeks before your arrival, not to mention an online portal registration process that does not accept your name and birthday as you know it or the PIN that you cut and paste into their form. What a mess! 5 years ago when I used them, this was not the case. The longer drive for a simple colonoscopy was a more efficient use of my time and a far less stressful experience than dealing with the ongoing burdensome/poor/malfunctioning systems used by Digestive Health Partners.

Every person that i dealt with on the day of my procedure were super nice, which i really appreciated since I was so nervous. I'm sorry that i didn't get everyones names but, from the initial check in for id, insurance etc , anesthesiologist, Dr. Fisher's nurse, and Dr. Fisher were really nice. Procedure went well. Thank you

For endoscopic procedures NO.

Can i have a endoscopy without being sedated

Kim Bryson | Nov 5, 2019

Yes for both egd and colonoscopy. Would not recommend unsedated egd. Poorly tolerated in most cases. Only some mds willing to perform unsedated exam, so be sure to ask scheduling.
