Dr. Yepuri is great. However, his Nurse, Peggy Vasser, does not return calls. It is utterly impossible to speak with a live person at this facility including Peggy Vasser. And to get a call back may take days.

Very friendly staff. My would not start after my appointment. Staff helped while waiting on roadside service.

Appointment scheduling and communication was very good. Dr. Yepuri was thorough and seemed very interested in my health and well being. He also gave me a voice in the treatment options.

Questions & Answers

How do I prepare for a GI doctor visit?

It’s recommended to keep a diary of relevant medical occurrences, past surgeries, any allergies, and triggers you may feel initiate a change in health (e.g. diet, stress, exercise, personal relationships). Be as detailed as you can and this information will help Dr. Yepuri with his diagnosis. Also, don’t worry about being embarrassed when explaining your condition. We realize that digestive health conditions can be very personal and our entire team treats all situations with complete discretion. Our only focus is on getting our patients feeling better.

Our website has a complete list of all insurance providers we accept. Please call our office if you have any insurance related questions. Our office employs an insurance specialist who is able to give our patients an accurate cost estimate prior to an office visit or any other procedures.

Yes. Please call our office to schedule a telemedicine appointment and our staff will explain all of the details.

Do patients need to schedule an office visit prior to their colonoscopy?

Jay Yepuri | Nov 5, 2020
Jay Yepuri | Nov 5, 2020

For qualified screening colonoscopy patients, an office visit is not required prior to your colonoscopy. This option is for patients in relatively good health and not all patients will qualify. Factors such as significant illnesses, family history and certain symptoms will need a more detailed evaluation by Dr. Yepuri in order to safely undergo colonoscopy and will require an office visit prior to procedure. Please call our office and we would be happy to discuss the direct screening option with you and answer any questions.

Is colonoscopy the best exam to screen for colon cancer?

Jay Yepuri | Nov 5, 2020
Jay Yepuri | Nov 5, 2020

Yes. Colonoscopy is considered the gold standard exam to screen for colon cancer. This is because it is the only exam that allows the doctor to both screen for and remove polyps in the same exam. Other screening exams will require a colonoscopy to remove polyps if they test positive for colon cancer.

Is there anyway I get urgent appointment for today or I had to wait 1 week for my stomach pain which is killing me right now?????

Jay Yepuri, MD | Nov 6, 2018

Anyone experiencing a medical emergency should call 9-1-1 or go to the hospital. Please do not use social channels like this one for urgent medical communications. It is my recommendation to call your doctor if you need immediate feedback regarding your health. Our phone number and business hours are located in the top portion of this Google listing. Thank you.
