Dr. Johnston is wonderful, as are most of the support staff. Once in a while you get a cranky person on the phone when you call, but I've learned just to call back later when that happens.

Worst experience of my life. From the time I entered the doors, half filled out paperwork, saw the nurse, saw the doctor, and left was 9 minutes in its entirety. Dr Shih did not look at my family history, and completely disregarded my concerns. Regional GI has record of this in both the post-visit survey and a voicemail I left after they called me regarding the survey. Ever since then (March 2022), getting in contact with Regional GI has been next to impossible and I’ve received multiple letters and phone calls regarding a bill that is literally paid! I would recommend going ANYWHERE else.

I saw Dr. Horwhat, and once again, I was impressed by how thorough he was. He certainly had come into the room well prepared with my health background, citing visits I had with other similar Drs 3-4 years ago in another state! Dr. Horwhat is well spoken, explains things in a way that can be understood, and offers suggestions. He is not afraid to give his opinion and backs it up with facts. I certainly would certainly recommend Dr. Horwhat.

The experience in the office and with the doctors was fine. It has been an unmitigated disaster dealing with the billing department. I have been getting a different answer at every call and keep getting calls that my account is past due. Of course its an automated call after business hours. I called a few days ago and they said you are not past due, not sure why it is doing that. I wish I could give zero stars as this has been ongoing for months. If you can avoid going there, I would suggest you don't go. On top of that he patient portal is archaic, you would think a practice with 20 plus locations would at least be in the 20th century.
