Very disappointed. I booked a room for my wedding on Saturday, no option for an early check in. I had to book another night for Friday night. No one stayed in the room Friday night and I was still charged full price for 2 nights. My groomsman checked in early on Saturday with no problems. Staff was very unfriendly, they front desk lady charged the wrong card after I told her 3 times to switch it to a different card. If you’re staying here as a wedding party, DON’T!

South Colorado is a little slice of heaven in this place was great. It was very clean and everything worked 100%. I opted for a room on the back side of the hotel on the third floor with the balcony that overlooked the Colorado River it was quite enjoyable to watch the stars while having a cocktail on the balcony. I would stay here again. Went to a great restaurant close by by the name of miners claim it was excellent.

Front desk staff was amazing and really kind There was a blonde lady with long hair and red lipstick-She was awesome and Sarah. Sometimes it’s hard to find good hospitality anymore but they were extremely kind to myself and my four kids!! Also I don’t know his name but the older man that does the breakfast is awesome he is so kind and always looking to help someone! Now the downfall and the only reason it didn’t get a 5 star is because our room was messy. There was food on the side of the beds towards the light and the toilet was pretty dirty where pee is usually caught and the ice bucket had brown fingerprints on it so I had to clean the room myself for comfort but the lobby and everywhere else was extremely clean. The view is amazing if you have a balcony suite or even if you go on the back trail.And I’m not a person who usually writes reviews but I thought this hotel minus the room situation was a great hotel!!! We will return:)

Great location right off the Colorado River. Fishing access right from your room if you stay in the rooms on the South side of hotel. Dog friendly with lots of room to walk your pets. Rooms were decent. We stayed in a suite on the third floor. It had a jetted tube right in the living room with a separate bedroom. Several of the lights didn't work in the rooms and there were no USB ports available. Also the hair dryer didn't work. So it could use a few upgrades. Amenities like the pool and workout room where basic and nothing spectacular. We went to breakfast at 9 am (it's served from 6:30-9:30) and they were out of food and the cook said she wasn't making more but we could eat cereal. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay. It's definitely nicer than other Holiday inns we've stayed at in bigger cities.
