Yes. They have you take list your place of residence as their hotel for the purpose of taking the test and getting your Missouri cdl. Then the next time you go home to Alabama you simply take in your Missouri CDL and pay to get it transferred to an Alabama Cdl with your home address. It's about $80. But trust me you will make that and more once you're running solo.

Through the Prime Training Program, you will start with a Class A Permit from your home state. You will take the CDL Exam at one of our testing location, and once you pass, we will send your scores electronically back to your home state. You will then be able to obtain your Class A CDL in your home state.

Yes they will, but be sure to explain the whole situation to the recruiter and don't hide anything. The background check is very thorough. Some of the places they carry for and deliver to have some additional restrictions so it may occasionally get you passed for a load from what I am told but another one will come right back around pretty quick. (But there are some things they will say no to I'm sure. I don't want to promise they take everyone with a past. I just know they have a pretty forgiving recruiting policy-and again dont hide it be upfront if they find out and you didnt tell them even if they would have let you they will now never hire you, it's all about trust)

Hi Cody! If you have at least 6 months of recent OTR or regional (5 states or more coverage), you would come in as an A Seat and do orientation and then get into your own truck.

Hi Brian! You can come in with your CDL from your home state, and you will not have to transfer it to MO. In the past, we used to have an option where people could get a MO permit and MO CDL and transfer it back to their home state through our Prime Training Program, but we discontinued that process last year. Generally once you pass Pre Trip and Skills, and you have your CDL-A issued by your home state in hand, you will attend Orientation which goes about a week, after that you will be set up with a TNT trainer and be required to complete a minimum of 50,000 miles of team driving. Already having the CDL allows you to bypass the PSD phase of training.

100%. Even if you had a current medical card, they still make you go through their physical and get a new one. So 100% no problem. Prime is amazing. I have been with them for 1 and a half years. For instance, I have been rehired by them after being there for 10 months then having to take a month off. So my medical card was not only through them to begin with, but only 10 months old. They still made me go through a physical and get an updated one.

Do they do hair follicle test or urine test

They are upstairs toward the front of the building. Basically any open door you can use it. If you bring your own towels I suggest you do, but they have towels hanging up. There's no time limit it's basically first come first served. The doors will be wide open for open ones. Doors shut mean someone's in there so dont knock or try opening a door. They have bunk rooms too, also free for 12 hours. You need to speak to the laundry dept for a bunk. They are the very first door on the corner between the showers and laundry room. If no rooms are available you'll see the sign attached to the door you knock on. If your unsure just ask someone they'll help you most likely.

You can call the number from the website and tell the operator that you need to do just that. They will pass you through to the safety team. Describe the event and give all the information you have like trailer number or truck number so they can identify the person accurately. However date, approximate time, and general location can be used to narrow it down so long as there was not multiple drivers in the area at the time. If they can't identify the individual driver they still take the complaint seriously and will send a message to all drivers regarding what happened and explain that it would be unacceptable and how or what they should have done to avoid doing it or making that same mistake. Keep in mind that their policy is all discipline is private so you will likely not get a follow up. But trust it will be taken seriously and handled by their policies and laws as well as appropriately and speedy. Prime prides itself on its reputation and it has a good one for a good reason.

Yes they have compay drivers and walk away lease. Also tractors are automatic. Flatbed, Refrigerated, and Tanker division's.

It takes ruffly 5 months to finish all training. If you decide to go lease. SAVE EVERY PENNY YOU CAN. you have to buy loadlocks chains. Detention stamp. Abloy locks.. A lot of stuff to buy. And several classes to take. Lease is where the money is at. During your training period. SAVE EVERY PENNY YOU CAN. My wife and I saved 3 thousand dollars. And was able to buy. Pretty much everything straight out.

Once I was finished with my tnt and was on the waiting list for a truck (lease) they covered the room I payed for food...I waited 6 days because I wanted a new truck not used so the wait was longer for me vs someone that will take a used truck. I stayed a day after getting my truck and wasn't charged. Pretty good company

You do not have to wait to do 30,000 miles you can do it as soon as you get on your trainers truck if you can plan it with your trips that's exactly what I did

I switched divisions flatbed to refer. They took my truck and put me with a trainer. Cleaning expenses was all I had. I seen a few going lease but stayed in that division, they were able to lease the truck they had. I was in training so I had no expenses. It does seem to be a smooth transition to lease. The leasing department defer the first truck payment into a year, a little at a time. They split the next week, and the third week is the full payment of your truck. Down time depends on your division and the available trucks. Also depends on what you want for a truck. If you keep the truck you have I wouldn't think that your down time would be long. You will take a few classes and do some more CBT'S. My wait was about a week, due to truck availability and the weekend. Overall I think it went fairly well. If you're going to look at getting a short term lease, be prepared for the possibility of needing to get stuff fixed on your truck.

95% of the time yes. Have been here 3 years and even during the slow freight days my dispatcher keeps me rolling. The only time I wait on trailers is trying to reload from home in Florida where we dont do a lot of business or from the yards where there is so much competition since every driver needs a load there can be more drivers than loads. But it's never a long wait and my check has never been affected by waiting when I had to unless I was in Florida.

I go into Jersey City and cross the GW a lot, so maybe they don’t go into the boroughs but pretty darn close
