Great shop, wonderful products and selection. I enjoy going here and will continue to go here- but had to take 1 star off for the organization. It could be nicer inside, its pretty messy and crowded. Overall great though.

Being pretty new to fish keeping, I visited Sierra several times over the past month with nothing but questions about tank cycling, fish compatibility, substrate, water chemistry…you name it. I found the staff incredibly helpful and patient in answering all of my questions. Everyone I spoke with was great but Alyssa was especially knowledgeable in helping me choose the right fish for my tank setup. No, you won’t find perfectly stocked and squared-off products on the shelves or polished floors. But it’s the slightly disorderly charm of the store that makes this place great. This is the sort of ma and pa shop full of experts and animal lovers that you are glad exists so you aren’t forced to shop solely at the Petcos of the world. Their selection of fish, plants, decorations and equipment FAR outweighs the box stores anyway. Do yourself a favor and stop by.

I love the fish selection in this place! All of the aquatic stuff they have is great. The staff is really knowledgeable and helpful. Sometimes they have puppy events which is fun and cute. The prices are reasonable and they have a nice rewards program. They do have bunnies and mice and some lizards and stuff as well as the Quantico section but i feel like the majority of the store is fish related. Overall I highly recommend this store for any fish or aquatic needs.

This is my favorite pet shop in wa state. The staff are fantastic and they have a great selection of fish/pets. My favorite part of this particular shop is that they have feeder ghost shrimp for a great price. If you are a repeat customer they also give discounts:)

I was there as of 5/25/2022 and they did have several in their aquatics section
I have been able to put in special orders before. Sometimes things are seasonal. I would ask if they're able to order what you want.
Their rabbit availability is seasonal. I would reccomend calling the pet store directly with your rabbit requirements and seeing if they have anything to suit you.
I know that they sell snakes not sure of what kind
They dont
We usually sell them around 4-5 months
They had pet rats for sale when I was in the store.
Yes they do,they had at least one when I was in a week ago
I don't know for sure but the young adults are always holding some kind of animal, so I'd say there at least an send to humans.
They have a very specific breed of pigeon. Not the ones that you would see out side on a typical day
They did when I was there about a week ago, babies I belieave
We have some Holland lips at this time. They are blue eyed and are $249
We do kit carry any hatchling as they are illegal to sell and can only be sold for educational purposes.
Currently we just have 1 golden and 1 teddybear in-stock. We hopefully will be getting in some on Thursday 12/10 mid afternoon
Have you tried calling during business hours
Yes they normally do but you should probably call them before showing up just to be sure so you aren't wasting a trip.
We have had rosy boas in the past but just sold the last one that we had over the weekend. It was a coastal rosy boa and was $189.
Not sure if they take back live fish. I would try to see if a friend wants a betta. Or call the store.
The current batches we have are from a breeder that breeds them for back up feeder rats. They are dumbos but are not as socialized as other pet rats we have received in the past.
This store does not sell ferrets
Yes they do
We do have options they we can order depending on if it is going to be marine fish or a reef tank with corals. They would range in price from $149-450 pending brand and style.
I only remember seeing rats for sale for pets. If they don't sell live feeder rats maybe they can help you find a store that does sell them.
Yes
Sometimes the stock varies and rotates as available but Sierra is awesome regardless
I am not sure, but you should call their number (you can find it on maps) and ask
I dont know if they do however give them a call and if they dont hsve one maybe they can get one or send you in the rogjt direction
We normally just carry the grain free formula. We can order and have shipped directly to your location.
We are not a chain store. We used to have multiple locations but were always family owned operated. We do not bread our bearded dragons in house.
The last batch of leopard geckos were from a local breeder. I will send him a message with your requests
No they don't have puppies. They have birds, reptiles rabbits spiders, fish
Yes you must fill out an application and get approved but this organization does adoption on-site
Birds have been the toughest catergory of our store shipments during COVID. We have had a very hard time getting bird shipments from our suppliers. Have not had cockatiels in 6+ months They will probably excalate in price $200+/- Currently have finches and canaries
Yes, they keep them in stock regularly.
You'll have to give them a call. They did have a lop when ai was in there but that doesnt mean it will still be there.
im shy lol
Might be a little off topic. Buying from here is hit or miss. Ive been going to this store since i was a kid and it was called fish gallery. Depends on staffing really. Last time i tried to buy a group of rummy nose tetra from here, not only did they all die a couple of my existing ones did along with my corey cats. However the original group of rummynose bought from here years ago are still going strong along with a butterfly pleco who is about 4 or 5 years now.
Not all the time, but they typically have a good rotating supply of breeds.
Yes. They work with Gingers Rescue and I believe there is also another organization they work with.
I would go to a different petshop. I am currently nursing a gecko back to heath. The employees don't seem to understand not to sell unhealthy animals.
They do except deposits on some animals but best to call first
Seems to me, the last time i was there they had parrots, diamond doves, parakeets, a variety of finches, Canary, and a few others.
