Got my rabbit from there. Her name is Bug and she is the greatest rabbit in the history of rabbits. Love her and they were absolutely amazing during the adoption process.

I love this place. We have adopted 3 rescue ferrets. There are many animals here waiting for a home. They don't have dogs though. Consider adopting a pet before going to the pet store.

I am hoping to rehome 2 male sugar gliders. I’ve tried craigslist but the responses scare me. Any ideas where I could take them?

You may want to reach out to Chins and Friends in Northern Kentucky.
Do you guys accept rabbits? We just feel she needs more room to grow and socialize with other rabbits.

Hi, I have a 3 year old unfixed tuxedo cat with suspected Feline Hyperesthesia Syndrome, he is special needs and I am sadly unable to give him a good quality life. Are you able to take him in and find him a loving/wonderful home?

We currently have a waiting list for cats to come into the facility. We can add you to the list but I cannot guarantee how long you would have to wait. You may have better luck with Cincinnati Cats or Ohio Alleycat Resource
Hello I am currently looking to adopt a baby ferret and i was wondering how much it would be and if they are up to date on vaccinations.
Cheyenne Grisez | Nov 3, 2021
The Ohio Pet Sanctuary- We do not rescue dogs | Nov 3, 2021
We do not have any baby ferrets. All of our available animals can be viewed on our petfinder page at https://www.petfinder.com/member/us/oh/cincinnati/the-ohio-pet-sanctuary-oh1174/. Ferrets are vaccinated for Distemper but not rabies because we do not have a veterinarian on site at all times to sign rabies certificates.
We do not currently have any kittens available for adoption. You can create a petfinder account and set it to alert you when kittens that meet your specifications are available in your area
They do I adopted mine from there but you might want to call first
Do they rescue kittens?

Hey I have 2 cats that about 4months old will you take them? Hoping they get adopted out together because they only know each other but if not just praying they go to good homes!

The Ohio Pet Sanctuary- We do not rescue dogs | Nov 4, 2019
Unfortunately, we don't have any space for cats right now and we have quite a few on our waiting list to come in. We can add you to the waiting list but I cannot give you an estimate as to how long you would have to wait.
They don't have the capacity for dogs, and since so many other places take dogs, The Ohio Pet Sanctuary takes in animals that other shelters and the like would turn away.
I have a 6 month old kitten who has had his shots and neutered but he is in need of medical treatment. He has a cist on his leg and I can't afford to take him to a vet. 😢😢Can you please help him?
Are there any places in nky or in Cincinnati that can neuter/spay guinea pigs? Or do you all provide that service?
Maegan Egolf | Nov 4, 2018
The Ohio Pet Sanctuary- We do not rescue dogs | Nov 4, 2018
We cannot provide that service but you may wish to try contacting Pet Care Animal Hospital with Dr. Peter Hill, Mason Family Pet Hospital with Dr. RuthAnn Carr, or the Cincinnati Animal Medical Center with Dr. Jeff Werwa
Are there foxes there able to be adopted or that we would be allowed to pet/play with
philip schafer | Nov 4, 2018

Do you guys take turtles?
Decema The pillow | Nov 4, 2018

It depends on the type and size of turtle. We do not take snapping turtles or Turtles with shells under 4 inch in diameter. We also do not handle wild-caught native species
