Pros: I love the small kid rink they have. It helped my first timer feel less overwhelmed. They do offer snacks and have some arcade games. It is clean for sure and updated. They also play good skate music which is something I wish Kettering did :) Cons: We went on family night. I hope skate world staff considers that when marketing an event this way you will appeal actual families. We likely won’t go again on this night. It was mostly overrun by teenagers and it was hard for the kids just learning to not be overwhelmed by the speedskaters. I know this is petty but also there were two employees, one in his late 40s or 50s that’s I’m nearly sure worked there when I was a kid and another that was questionably of legal smoking age and they were just making out all night on the rink. Idk if this girl is even old enough to be getting handled by this guy but they def were employees and just not place or time for it especially on a family night. I’m sure it’s a fine establishment but I just don’t recommend family night if you’re looking for low stress.

Had a birthday party for our 11 year old. Lots of fun. Staff was nice and helpful. Place was clean. Haven't been skating in a few years and can't wait to go back.

After more than 3 decades of skating this place will remain a go to!

Great place to skate. I used to skate there in the 80s and it's still great skating

I have done BD parties there when there are several going on at the same time. It is crazy. They don't let you bring any food in except the cake. The food provided was not enough for the kids. Then someone has to say at the table they give you to make sure no one steals your kids gifts. then the place is so packed that depending on how old you child is and how well they skate the others kids are very pushy and rough. You are also limited to how many can be at the party that includes parents and sibling of friends you have invited....... I recently rented the whole place for another BD party and it worked out soo much better and the cost wasn't much more than the cost of the party you get with other parties going on. You also are aloud to bring your own food and drink.
No time limits whatsoever, you can stay as long as they're open!
You h e to have at least 10 ppl and its $14 a person

Just go and skate. I drop my kids off. Friday and Saturday nights you must wear skates at all times if your under 21 or something like that.
Every Wednesday from 6 - 7 pm we have a walk-in skating class. It's $ 8 and includes skate rental, if needed. The classes are for all ages, from beginner to advanced.
We follow the mandates by the State of Ohio, which are you must wear a mask upon entering our facility. The mask may be removed while actively skating or eating. I hope this helps. We hope to see you soon. Thanks for asking!
