We just returned to Bainbridge Island after 11 years away and was nice to eat out close to our home at this wonderful Thai restaurant. The Tom Kah and crispy garlic duck were especially good!

Late last Friday night, 7/1, we ordered take out. My wife's entre came with greens that were brown spotted, brown around the edges. Disgusting.They said we should have returned it. I said I lived a half hour away so that wasn't feasible. Then she said we should have returned it or called on Saturday. I guess calling on Sunday fell outside their window of responsibility. The issue wasn't important to her. Avoiding customer service was the priority. I'm not a complainer and have never done this before.

Large portions that are made to be shared. The eggplant lovers dish was full of fresh vegetables and drenched in a savory mushroom broth. It paired perfectly with the sticky rice.

At the time I ordered food from here, my hubby & I had been traveling all day and were tired. We happened upon this place because we needed a few things from the gas station next door. We ordered from Sawatdy primarily because it was there. But my goodness was the food out of this world! Each dish was cooked to perfection with the most delightful spices and textures. It was so good we ordered it a second night in a row and it did not disappoint! The staff was also very welcoming and accommodating making the experience that much better. If you're on the island, it's worth venturing away from the downtown area for!
