There is a reason this place is reasonably priced. If it’s too good to be true then you guess it. I lived here for 5 years. My first three years were pleasant. I was drawn in by the large apartment size and pool; however, things started to take a turn for the worse. Two out of three elevators in the north tower were out for over 6 months; Elevators throughout my time were out of service. Paint on the walls and ceilings were crumbling. Trash shoot area was always excessively smelly. Exercise facility was a joke and not updated. It was smaller than a bedroom. They had archaic rules about everything. For example, laundry was not allowed in the regular elevators. There were two massive fires- and no one on my floor was alerted by the smoke detectors because they never went off. This is where it gets even worse: A person moved in next door. A few months later I was notified of a possible BED BUG infestation near my unit. They were required to notify and check the surrounding units, including mine. They didn’t find anything. A month later I started getting bites. They came in to “treat” but did nothing. I complained and then they accused me of bringing them in. They refused to treat. After two months of spending thousands on washing clothes, laundry, treatments, bed bug zappers, etc I decided to leave because they chose not to treat it properly. They will leave you high and dry. I bet the bed bugs are still there because they spread when not treated properly. Oh did you know that Orkin comes weekly because there are so many pest problems? Be warned, this place is a crumbling mess. Don’t buy, don’t rent. The building is old and peoples’ mentalities are too.

I don't know that building yet enough, but the first thing I noticed that it smells bad with dogs.I highly suggest that management makes sure that all areas (+elevators) are well cleaned and there is no smell,as this can be a really big issue for people as not everyone can stand it.

Ridiculous rules, extremely rude front desk. Its like you're living in a boarding school.
