Naw, g. The receptionists are very polite and knowledgeable. The entire process is just very, very, long. Howard brown is great, just not this location.

I recently had an appointment with a provider for a pap. I was in and out of my appointment in less than an hour. Because of delays within the clinic, a different provider than i was originally scheduled with saw me, Elora. It was a relatively smooth appointment and she answered my questions and made sure I had all my bloodwork done. I needed all documents of the appointment within a few weeks to share with another provider. The call center staff got me the information I needed, both times I called, within an hour of my inquiry. This hasn't been my experience in the past, so this was a big plus. I've been going to 55th for about 4 years now and my recent appointment was one of my best appointments. [disclosure: i am a staff person too, but rarely disclose that at my appts]

Disappointed not everyone has reliable transportation so to have to pay to get dropped off and picked right back up one minute later is crazy I called just to make sure they were open, to confirm hours, to check availability the hours of operations is 9am-5pm I get there at 11am to be told it’s booked up to come back tomorrow please do better I’m not understanding.

The lack of communication and coordination between providers and vital pharmacy employees jeopardizes the health of clients. The clinic either does not seem to be aware of the dangers of not providing consistent and reliable care to trans clients they've started on HRT or don't have the organizational infrastructure to provide consistent and reliable care-- either way, I'm extremely disappointed because the organization has significant potential and trust from the trans community. It is clear that most of the staff don't understand or relate to the health issues of the trans clients they serve, and this comes through via the quality of care we receive. I was really excited about this place.
