I'll be honest, the price was a bit more than I expected. I priced a few DIY products before the Estimator came out. But I'm an accountant for a General Contractor, so I know about the hidden costs that customers don't know about. Plus, I'm 61 and nearly certain I'd hurt my hands trying to do the install myself. I know I'd ache for days. Even a chance of a fall is not something I want to risk. It really hurts my body going up and down a ladder these days. After seeing the workmanship of the installation, I know it would have taken me all weekend to install this product. They were finished in a few hours. I can't guarantee my work, and I wouldn't have the best if I used a DIY product. I know my LeafFilter Gutter Protection INSTANTLY adds value to my house, and in the long-run by protecting it. Also, I collect rain water for plants and it's nice that I won't have to worry about grit and leaves getting in the barrels and clogging hoses. Add it all up and I think I got a heck of a bargain! Now if it would just rain!
