Loved this place. Was a true piece of culture to Athens. Unsure why others commented deciding to bring in politics. If the business wants you to wear a mask just do it, you aren’t that special and it’s their business. Hopefully they’re back at some point.

Honestly glad it's closed. They were extremely rude. Had a huge ugly stop sign on the door with an incredibly condescending message on it about masks. Very slow waitresses who barely pay attention. My glass was empty for over twenty …

The Grill is the definitive Downtown Athens eating experience. Don't be put off by the shabby, kitschy upkeep of the dining room. The food is amazing. This is a throwback to the days of diner yore, before the modern world standardized …

This is the cajun burger I ordered. Burnt, dried, and with literally nothing on it. The rest of the menu didn't have much variety either. We had a table of six, and didn't get our food until almost an hour and a half after we sat down. Vastly underwhelmed. The interior decoration was nice, and service was friendly, albeit slow.

Yes, always!!
No they're not
Aaaand welcome to "The Grill." This Athens staple is famous - not for the prompt, stellar service - but for the tradition and general vibe of the place. Don'tgo to the hardware store for bread. The Grill is The Grill. ....take it for what it IS, not for what you want it to be. (I'll be back soon for iffy service and delicious handcut fries with feta dressing! 😋)
Always creamy........
Like Charles said I'm sure it's on the food delivery service in Athens👌
