I lived at Etta for around 4 years and besides some minor things, I honestly had a fine experience. The walls/ceilings are fairly thin and it took a surprising amount of time for the hot water to kick in (4th floor). While there seemed to be a new property manager every few months at the end, when I first moved in my experiences with the staff were great. Brandi and her successor Brandon were both absolutely fantastic managers, always available and trying to actually improve the property and run events. I was happy to have them. Maintenance initially was fairly quick to respond and always courteous, although by the end of my stay new maintenance folk were common and it took around a week or more to get issues resolved. For the price everything seemed fine. That said, upon moving out I had received what looked like a partial final statement. I made several attempts to clarify the final total with 0 response from anyone in the leasing office or from Brittani (who had been a huge help up until I was no longer a resident). My calls and emails went unanswered. It wasn't until I received a letter from collections that I found out I did have a balance. I'm now dealing with a collections agency, my credit has a negative mark on it, and all of this could've been avoided with a 2 minute chat. It's a true shame.

Terrible. What others are saying about the lackluster management and noise levels are true. You won't have any privacy here. You can hear everything your neighbors say and do in adjacent units. I literally could hear people YAWNING. The walls ARE that thin. Do you enjoy a decent night of sleep? Forget about it. The noise level here is ridiculous and dogs bark all night. My 3.5 years there was sleep depravation hell. if you can afford it, live somewhere else. You'll be happier.

I love it here at Etta the apartment homes are open have lots a room, good size balcony and the office staff is awesome. Brittani has helped me with the move in process as we all know that can be a pain.

What sets this apartment building apart from the rest of the places in Ballard is without a doubt the property director, Brandon. I moved here from Chicago and checked out so many places for a studio apartment, but nothing compared to the experience I had when Brandon welcomed me to my new home. It makes this feel like a community, and not just an apartment complex. The level of excellence you notice in the details are unmatched, and the overall genuineness is something no-one (or no company) has been able to demonstrate. I urge anyone struggling to decide on what building, what type of unit, or even what location in Ballard (or nearby neighborhoods) to pop in and check out Etta Ballard... I assure you that you will not regret it!

Hi Rachel, street parking can be limited so purchasing a space is recommended.
If mail is forwarded through USPS, it will be delivered to the corresponding mailbox here in the building with the apartment number listed on it and an assigned mail key will be issued.
