The Moody Forest Tavia's Trail is a very well marked/blazed (purple paint/signs/ribbon) hike through mostly pine forest with plenty of varied wildlife and vegetation. The trailhead is further east than the Google pin, with a parking area and welcome sign. At this time of winter the grass on the trail was mostly dried, but there were still ticks so be properly prepared. Most of the trail is plenty wide and well maintained, with a few areas closer to the river more natural and more narrow but easily navigated.
