I have a good experience at this post office for over 30 years. The customers can be difficult at this location and sometimes to many people hanging out front.

The lady that drops of my packages never drops them off she either leaves them with my neighbors or somewhere else

Always a long wait, only one clerk is available , and the carriers assign to my area is switched out like underwear, you never know who's delivering or the estimated time of arrival. However the 1 clerk servicing the window is polite

It will go back to the office the same day. If you have the number of the post office you can call them early in the morning informing them of the situation and that you'll pick it up. Have proper identification for yourself or for the person you're picking up the mail for.
Yes!
Easiest may be to contact with sender. However USPS requires your ID at pick-up, they also can help.
As long as the right zip code is on the address, the letter carrier should be able to deliver it.
