Nice facility, great people. Problem is they're still doing adoptions by appointment. So when you have an appointment, the number you call to let them know of your arrival always rolls to voicemail. I wish there was a way to text to let them know. Otherwise, no complaints. They have lots of great animals. Please don't shop - adopt!

Being admitted to the Hospital for a bone infection, they forced me to hand over my service dog to the police, who took him to Everett, Wa animal shelter. I was scared that he would be adopted out, or worse. But I give 5 stars to the shelter. They took very good care of him, gave him his own room and bed (no chain link pens), and offered him a lot of support & love. They also didn't charge me anything for the stay. Thank you, Everett Animal Shelter !!

I have a feral cat colony in my neighborhood that I have been doing my best to trap & spay/neuter with Feral Cat Project. I ended up catching a mama & newborn baby in a trap. This was out of my area of what little expertise I do have so I knew I needed to reach out to an organization, rescue or shelter with more knowledge than me. I reached out to several private rescues that were not able to accommodate due to lack of space, upcoming (well-earned) vacations, etc. My last option was a no-kill shelter, so I reached out to my local one that had amazing reviews. Now, I understand times are crazy. There’s COVID, there’s a labor shortage & I know our communities are over run with strays, unaltered animals, feral colonies & the like. But the absolute lack of empathy, compassion & kindness that this worker (Lark, I believe.) had with me when I was dropping off mama & her baby floored me. I was a wreck. These cats may be feral cats, but most of them I have been feeding & sheltering since they were kittens. I have worked so hard to gain their trust to the point where I can safely & humanely trap them to alter them & release them back to their colony. She cut me off any time I tried to inform her of their situation. She would walk away while I was mid-sentence. She forgot she had my ID. I asked about resources for professional help with the rest of the colony as kitten season is upon us & several of the females are visibly pregnant. It seemed this question was a bother or a chore to answer as I had to holler to get her attention to come back & she began walking away again mid-answer. It was all over off-putting & left a very bad taste in my mouth about the shelter. They obviously do amazing work or they wouldn’t have the raving reviews they have, but this portion of my experience is what stands out the most & definitely will influence how I TNR this colony going forward. I do want to mention Rachel, she took my appointment & she was kind & so helpful.

Great place. The people are super nice and we found the BEST DOG EVER at this shelter! She has been the sweetest, most precious, well-behaved, smart, adorable addition to our family and we're so thankful to the caring staff who took such good care of our girl for the six weeks she was at the shelter!

The shelter can euthanize for you at a much lower cost than your vet. You just take the cat there and surrender the cat to the shelter. If the cost is a severe impediment to you, the shelter has the ability to help by lowering the fee even further. I'm so sorry to hear that your pet is suffering.
You have to visit or call.
I went through the same thing; it’s about $500 to have a private euthanasia at home with the ashes returned. I know a mobile vet. If it isn’t too late feel free to contact me maybe I can help.
That's awesome!
Of course! Just go during the open hours.
People can relinquish a pet to PAWS, so probably EAS also, for a fee. (just a volunteer)
DOGS - Adult dogs (over 6 months): $150 - Puppies (6 months and under): $350 Download and fill out a dog adoption application (PDF). Adoption Fees for cats and dogs include: Spaying / neutering Microchip First set of vaccines Dewormer Flea treatment 30-day pet insurance with valid email address Martingale collar and slip lead for dogs Pet licenses are required for dogs and cats in the City of Everett, and unincorporated Snohomish County.
don't listen to J Murph's sob story, he's obviously never been to the shelter. All dogs are given a bed made of PVC and a plastic-type hammock and a blanket. (some dogs don't get blankets if they like to rip them to shreds) The facility is warm, clean, and well lit during the day. These are happy dogs waiting for the right person to come find them. As far as donating your bed I don't think they would take it but it's worth a call. Otherwise I think goodwill will take them!
Call the shelter, ask the bail out fee and you all can go get him. Make sure you take along vaccination records, spay neuter that stuff. They are doing curbside due to pandemic.
The animal shelter is a good place. They do all they can to adopt out pets. The animals are on display. Adoption is easy. They will even place cats in Petco and PetSmart for adoption. Check them out.
That's A Very Good Question.. It's Best To Call Them Or Check Their Website For More Information Regarding This Question..
Super easy and fast to take the kitty in. They only require an ID and to fill out a form.
Fyi... Every Value Village thrift store has a "community donation" or recycling center in back of store which accepts anything. It is corporate policy to accept anything & they do not charge a crazy fee like the dump does. In fact, their fee is free.
Puppies are announced through the website just before they are ready to be adopted. Sign up for emails and it makes it easier. There are usually a few under 6 month puppies available.
I'm sorry if you lost your dog. It can cost a lot. What kind a dog and how long it's been since he went missing? There is so many factors that can effect, like time, location.
I believe all animals are neutered before adopted.
Yes but they have a volunteer class 1st. If you contact them or go down there they can give you all the necessary info. Thanks for asking. They are always looking for kind, loving, and dependable folks.
We accept monetary donations. Pillows are not a currency. May i suggest Sears?
Yes, they do cost starts out at $185 for a private cremation
You gotta call EAS and make an appointment, they do accept rabbits though. They probably have an appointment today.
Usually they charge you a fee.
Puget park vet will see her for $35 on the first visit. It's $50 per visit after that and they are awesome. Very nice, very caring staff. I've never felt that they were trying to upsell me on anything.
I know they take open bags of cat food.
THAT IS NOT THE REASON TO PUT YOUR PET DOWN..... CHEERS TO.... JOHN ERICKSON....
Normally it doesn't cost anything but you'll have to double check
The foster program is part of the volunteer opportunities. They have a training coming up just after the new year. I've fostered puppies, same process as for kittens & cats. Free and no obligation training.
We normally donate this time of year after the weather turns, blankets. food and other slightly used items for the shelter.
You can find pics on there website that's how I found the cat I wanted .I think I actually looked at petago.com ,and that's how I found out kitten at Everett animal shelter
Update so I went and got my boy today it was 165 total the waved the microchip fee and it was super fast considering how busy the place is . So I got a cat license a micro chip, deworming ,rabies , and a flea treatment . Which is fair I think for all those services. Everyone was very nice there . I literally stayed up and worried all night and things turned out ok . There isn’t much information on there about fees ect I hope this is helpful
You will need to contact the shelter directly. This is just a review page on Google
This is a discussion site. You need to call them direct. Good luck!
Yes
You can take them I to a shelter for free, not sure about if it's free in a vet's office
What if you are 15 and will be 16 in a couple months?
What's wrong with it? I do not think that they can help you send me a message https://m.me/elizabeth.bennett.37819959
Yes they do. You can always check their website, they update it frequently.
Sorry, this was a review I wrote. Give them a call to see. Good hunting!
Call sarvey wild life.
Yes, if your pet is still there and available to adopt.
It is $85 dollars and they do it Sunday through Thursday from 11am to 4pm. I’m so sorry about your cat 😞
You can volunteer as long as you have an adult volunteer with you! I believe that's how it is until you're 18, but their website should have more details :)
Not sure but possibly
There is no cost to turn in a found animal. (I've done it twice)
13 if you go with an adult. 16 for certain activities and 18 to do pretty much everything else.
You can surrender the kittens to the Everett Animal Shelter, I believe there is a surrendering fee of $189.00 per kitten. So, I suggest calling the Animal shelter first, and inquire if they know if any other resources maybe ine that caters to our feine friends. Also, please call PAWS I believe they are a NO KILL shelter.
The dogs in the shelter come in as strays or owner surrenders so we get all types of animals, the website is updated constantly so keep an eye out for tge digs we have currently. I dont believe we have any poodles at this time however.
You need to call the police office,,they will direct you to the people to notify
Use Google map, it will give you what bus you need to take and the time schedule for it.
Contact a local vet and they will help you with your questions.
For puppies you need to talk to the office. They are the only ones that can answer that.
They have a room for other animals. I did not see any lizards. Only rabbits and Guinea pigs. But I do not check for those either.
Everett Animal Hospital , it's almost exactly on the corner if Briadway, and Everett, Ave. He's an awesome Doc. used to work in Easter, WA. Knows dogs, cats, horses, etc. And, very fair priced, one of the best prices in the area.
Sometimes, you would have to call the shelter
Hmm I'm not real sure what you are referring to? I have never heard of them coming after an owner who surrendered their animal.
Best bet is to talk to someone in person, and they can find out the best way to qualify you or help you find resources!
EAS only euthanizes for behavioral or health issues. They make a point to NOT euthanize for space. They also transfer animals to other agencies.
I was there at 11 am today and they had 2! One male and one female in separate cages. But I don't know if either were adopted today. They also had 3 rabbits.
Tonia. Linn. If you are getting no response. Call a lawyer through legal aid or the local University Law School.
Yes I'm pretty sure they do
Sometimes..
