It was ok. Food was extremely carb loaded, so for people who require more protein, it’s pretty tough. I ended up literally living on plain cooked vegetables or iceberg lettuce salads and cheese sticks for 5 days straight. Took 3 days for the Dr to order me a low carb diet so I could actually get some normal foods. Was very irritating. But hey, they did explain that it’s common for detoxing to crave lots of carbs, so I understand they kind of had that menu for the average detoxer. Therapy groups were pretty non existent. No outside access, no fresh air at all. That alone was the most difficult thing for me! No TV, only kid friendly DVDs to prevent any triggers. No books except for a few random things other left. Basically you go there to detox but they expect you to just sleep 24/7? It’s a combination of mental hospital and detox center. So not great for people who just need detox to be stuck with a screaming roommate. Yeah, I walked 10 miles a day around those halls, sometimes more. I had bad blisters within 48 hrs cuz you get really cheap sandals. I lost 10 lbs though in 5 days!! Hey, maybe I should go back and stay a month. Weight loss clinic!

Put it simply....They are there to earn a pay check. No one there cares about your addiction. They give you meds and stick you in a room. Absolutely no support for the bigger picture of your addiction.

Counslors and nurses are extremely kind. I slept thru most my withdrawl with very little discomfort. The detox meds were just right, no hangover. Clean rooms so the food was my only complaint, a lil bla. Detox made easy but realized aftercare is very important. If you need to detox, this is the place to be. Felt safe

This detox program was a joke. My girlfriend repeatedly called asking for information on how I was doing and was greeted by a voice-mail everytime which she left messages on and never received a call until I physically had to go to the head of detox and have her call. When she finally did call she completely gave her the wrong doses of medications I was being given and was extremely rude. The nurses half of the time are just floats so they do not even work in the detox unit so 90% of what I would ask them they had absolutely no clue what I was even talking about as well as how they talk to you half the time makes you feel worthless. I do not recommend anyone going here to get sober. Yes I got a few days in and I am still clean which I am grateful for but I have been to a few detox centers before and how this one was ran was unbelievably messed up and unorthodox!

I went into detox from prescribed narcotic pain meds. I jumped from a high dose fairly long term addiction and they managed my detox using "comfort meds" pretty well. I was in there maybe 5 days? My last inpatient day i didnt get any meds so i wouldnt be drugged when i was discharged. They didnt use suboxone for my detox or switch me from my oxy to a .gov suboxone. clinic. Hooray!!!
Yes, I do believe that they offer both.
