Hand and hand is a useless service that doesn't help people who actually are having troubles with their rent. This service is a waste of time. Reason for that is because you wasted my time and my landlords time requesting all these documents to present to the "committee" that the file never even made it the committee to be denied. This service only looks deep into not approving struggling single fathers who are on their last leg.

This organization helps families having a hard time, as well as runs an emergency shelter for children. They can provide rent assistance, food, clothes, etc.

Hand in Hand is a wonderful nonprofit organization that is dedicated to reaching out in our community. They have many facets. They run a temporary shelter for children entering the foster care system for the first time. They are involved in community outreach such as a soccer program, after school groups, clothing giveaways. They are AMAZING!
