Very disappointed. My wife and I had an appointment, and were talking over which cat she wanted to adopt. We had told the guy at front we did want to look at the dogs and he said it would be okay. When we left the cat room another gentleman approached and told us our appointment time was over. My wife had her heart set on an adoption, but he was very rude. My wife immediately said it was okay and was ready to go(code for she was unhappy) the man continued to be rude and I was clear that we were unhappy and he was losing an adoption because he was basically kicking us out. I would think it takes more than 30 minutes for people to be comfortable in their decision looking at multiple animals, and it is sad that we felt unwelcomed and like we were an inconvenience especially after driving an hour after work.

Worst animal shelter in the world it might take care of the animals that are in the shelter my neighbor has an aggressive dog who runs loose every single day and they refuse to come and do anything about it I have video of this dog charging at me I have video of this dog attacking cats and they still refuse to come out and do anything about it I thought it was their job to take care of aggressive dogs running loose apparently not

I couldn't say at this time. You can go online and see
A vet might be able to, but your still going have to pay for there service
Unfortunately Salina has no pit policy. You would need to look for a a dog boarder outside of Salina.
Yes! The cost is quite low. Give them a call, they are very helpful!
Not likely.
I don't actually work there, but if I remember correctly. They were 15
Can call animal shelter and file complaint for cats. Wild animals animal control may not deal with

If you go to the web sight you can actually schedule it and pay for it all right there and it's approximately $65

Microchip is just a Elecktronicks ID tag, does not have GPS capability.
My boxer was stolen this past sunday from bridgeport ks. Pretty sure the boxer mix thats posted in lost & found named Spot is BUBVA.. He had a blue collor ,now he has red bandanna . Since he was stolen, Will I get charged with dog at large ???
Yes you are all in to interact
Last time I caught a loose dog running around on Crawford street after hours I called the police. They would not call the on call person & they told me to just turn the dog loose.
Our animal shelter wont take him. I asked a Wildlife Shelter off internet and they told me to kill him. I actually put him in a hole where we have seen squirrls enter but our cats cant reach and other squirrels took him in. Thank you thou.
Please go to the Salina Animal Shelter website.
I can tell you that Salina has a no-kill shelter and they will do everything they can to find your dog a good home. I can also tell you that Facebook has many pages in Salina and surrounding area for pets. I am sure that somebody on there would be looking for a dog. If you could somehow post on those pages those would also be helpful to you. I would like to also tell you that Salina has a fantastic animal shelter and they will take the best possible care of your dog. They have a little dog park out behind the animal shelter one for small dogs and one for larger dogs. Salina is very lucky to have the animal shelters that they do have.
I don't know I don't work there
Call the animal shelter, they have people who can help.
As of January 2018, they had just started spaying and neutering of cats and are accepting sign-ups for dogs in the near future. It's $63 total all inclusive, for an examination, all shots, microchip, city license, and spay or neuter. It happens one day per month at 7 AM, so call at least a day in advance. It's done by a guest veterinarian with their own practice. I just had it done.
