There's an ad in the wait room that prides itself on having a short wait time when booking your appointment online. I came a few minutes earlier than my scheduled time and there was a wait for several others who supposedly also made appointments. Counting from my actual scheduled time slot, expect to wait at least 30 minutes before getting in. The location either needs to hire more staff or have less appointments available online. Despite your scheduled time I believe they take patients based on timing of when you actually check in. The actual staff was nice and professional so the long wait should be addressed by the company.

This is feedback for the Vernon Hills facility. Worst experience ever! My husband and I scheduled COVID tests online due to upcoming travel plans. The facility was hard to find. We had to drive around the building twice to finally find the little sign tucked in the corner of where the office was located. Once we walked into the office area, it was dark and there was no one to assist us. There was a little sign on the front desk with an arrow pointing to an automated machine to enter in your information and then wait. Again, no one around to assist. After a few minutes, I heard my name called, and had to go around a corner to meet someone. She didn't even greet me or say good morning after I said it to her. She asked if I had been there before and I told her no, so obviously, I did not know the process. She said, "I need your ID, Insurance, and Order." I gave her my ID and Insurance (that I already had to put into the automated machine when I first arrived) and told her I didn't know I needed the Order (I thought she was referring to the appointment I scheduled). She very rudely said, "I need a paper order!" So I said that I had it on my phone and she said I could email it to her. So I found it and emailed it to Lisa M K*****. She got it and again, rudely said, "No, your doctor's order!" What!? Nothing in the confirmation email from Quest said anything about needing that! However, I did have one and tried to find it on my doctor's office app, but I so confused and everything by Lisa's rudeness, that I could not find it. So I said, "If I can't find it, can I not get the test?" And she just said "No." So, I said "Thanks for nothing." and left. Lisa was the rudest person and knowing that this was the first time ever being there, you would think she would have been a little more helpful. I will never recommend anyone going to the Vernon Hills facility ever.

I rarely post reviews and even when I do I only put in starts, no words. But this facility is so bad I have to write this one. Long waiting time despite booking an appointment. Extremely rude staff. Went there for my son’s blood test. We waited for 2 hours before someone called us and told they did not receive the fax from the doctor’s office. It was sent to them thrice and the lady could not figure it out. Even though I had the lab order in my phone and I offered to email it to them she very rudely refused. Apparently they only accept faxes from doctors office and have no idea how to find them. I understand you have to do what you have to do but why be so rude and inconsiderate for no reason. If they are so bad at such basic etiquettes, how bad are they going to be at their actual job. Please do not trust yours and your kids’ health with them. They need better technology and even better staff. I would give them 0 starts if there was an option. Please save yourself from this horrible experience and go somewhere else for your labs. If all of their locations are like this, it’s unbelievable how they are still functioning. Never going there again. PS: I see reviews with similar problems as old as 3 years and Quest diagnostics has replied over and over saying that they would forward the feedback to the leadership team to take action, it makes me think they only say this and never take any actions to do any better.

Quest appointment scheduler is useless. It shows dozens of available times on multiple days at multiple locations. But no matter which one you select, it reports "The time you selected is no longer available. Please make changes to your location, date or time." I tried at least a dozen different times on different days at different locations. Tried "starting over." always the same result. I don't know how this company can operate.
