You can apply right online. Google Access NYC, make an acct, then apply. Hope that helps!
If they are living on staten island they can go to the center and ask for an interpreter if they speak another language
That question makes no sense. It goes by income. Duh!!!!
Goto access hra log in and it ask You Do You Want To Recertify Now
The whole office closes at 5 pm m-f and 12 pm on sat closed Sunday. Replacing a card can neer five over the phone n they'll mail it. ..i'm bor sites id thou show up in person if u get one faster i doubt it though. But id get there 4 pm to be safe. You can go tell them you are homeless or go to PATH they help on the spot address is 151 E 151st St, Bronx, NY 10451 Also they are open 24/7
It’s open only for SNAP on Saturdays
Call for a fair hearing.
Depends on what u going for but usually they give you emergency food stamps and cash assistance after interview if you submit all paperwork and qualify for it after that a month to get approved or denied
I'm sorry 😞 but I advice you to call your worker or go in person to the office.
Everyone's situation is different, there are quite a few programs that are available. You would have to go in to see what you are eligible for.
t
You will have to go in and speak to a supervisor also carry all info that you have received that it was renewed
Staten Island only refers you to the place that the card are made. There, they put it in your hand.
You can either go online nyc.gov/accessnyc, or go in person to ask.
You go on person and ask for one. Unless u need a budget letter for snap then you ask wherever the place you get $ from whether your job, ssi, ect.
Not too sure but you can inquire about it.
Go in and tell them that you want to cancel your cash assistance.
One shot deals are issued by the Job Center not the SNAP Office.
You can try to get carfare from there, if not, take farry and then go by the buses, by asking bus driver to path, also there another very much not nice but available if you decide shelter on Staten Island 25 Central Street, close to Ferry too , also there is a woman intake Brooklyn shelter 116 Willams Ave
The rental assistance isn't received that same time you get your benefits. You will not know the rent has been paid unless your landlord tells you. The money goes straight to the landlord. Paperwork has to be filled out prior to you receiving those benefits. Go back to see your case worker so they can open that part of your case.
Go to 201 Bay street with your gas and electric bill shut off notice
To be honest it’s best to go in person because they don’t even pick up their phone at all and if you ever decide to arrive very early so that you can be seen and be out within an hour because if you go after 9:00 or even after lunch you’ll be waiting a very long time.
You have to apply for any type of emergency or temporary assistance. Yoy can do it online too
Try to get childcare for your children so that you’ll able to go out and handle business if your comfortable with that
You can download the access nyc app and scan the docs with your phone with an app and they will see it through your access account
It's all about your income
no
To get food stamps you just need social security for everyone in the house proof of income and and proof of your address
Find out who your social worker is and go to center and ask. You'll need date you applied
You would have to go to the snap office
