Hdd passwords are not made to be cracked. Only removed with original password. Normally a drive needs to be replaced if the password is forgotten. We can replace the HD, reinstall the operating system w/updates. The os install is $45. the hard drive prices range depending on SSD or old style mechanical. You maybe able to contact Dell for the password issues. The older models use to have a method of clearing passwords with a Dell provided key.

We would need to check drivers and additional programs installed that may cause conflict with the microphone. if the issue is intermittent, it will be harder to diagnose. My regular tech is on vacation until August and he would check mechanical issues, cables connections etc. I can check software and driver issues. We would be glad to look at it.

We do not work on phones at NetQuest. We repair computers, both desktop and laptop.

Boot device error usually means a problem with a hard drive or ssd. Probably an HP computer. We can repair by replacing the hard drive or check to see if the drive is securely attached. We do not charge to give an estimate or diagnose the issue.

Yes, we can relace a nonfunctioning fan, clean a clogged air passage and replace the thermal paste. Just bring it in for our tech to check it out. No charge for the estimate. $35 dollars if it just needs cleaning.

We do not charge for estimates. We must see the computer to give you an acurate estimate. Could be quite a list of possible causes. Just bring the laptop in with your power supply and leave it for a few hours so we can diagnose it. Thanks for the inquiry.

We can replace, as long as the replacement is available and the board was not damaged. I assume it is a computer motherboard. My board tech is on vacation until the end of september.

We can replace hard drives and reinstall the Operating system. We can sometimes read data from hard drives but if the drive is not readable or not spinning we can send it off for data recovery. Most places cannot repair a broken hard drive without expensive clean room and parts.

Only some laptops that can be repaired with win 7 or newer operating systems. we do not purchased desktops or laptops prior to Win 7. We do recycle old computers and erase the hard drives with DOD software but we do not buy them.
