Camped at site 113 in south campground. This site is out of level by 5 “. From side to side. But park is fantastic. Lots of deers and turkeys room around. Saw a large owl as well.

Awesome some location on the north west side of Lake Rathbun. State owns the property and is struggling to keep it up to its own standards. The hope is someone more in the hospitality business will assume operations. It's up and running. Just know they are struggling.

We camped in a tent for 2 nights. We had 3 toddlers and 2 teenage kids, and a puppy We all had a wonderful relaxing time! Definitely going to visit again!

Moravia is just down the road from honey creek state park. If you go south from Moravia eventually, you will reach centerville. If you head north, Albia.
Anyone can go out to the indoor water park & get passes for the day. Does not require a stay at the resort. Southern Iowa location on Lake Rathbun. Very nice place.
We called ahead for our stay. some rooms they do and others they don't.
