I thought I was getting the best. I had the same surgeon the MN Twins use. But they botched my surgery. They tricked me into letting a student do my nerve block and she accidentally stabbed me in the nerve. Now I lost nerve connection to my right thumb and index finger. Used to be a big basketball player and video gamer. Now I can’t do either. Took six months of me asking about the damaged nerves before I got an appointment w a neurologist. Turns out he was a student too. Sent me out the door w a “sorry here’s another bill for $2k”. Total waste. If you’re going to go here. Make sure to double check that each person who works on you is not secretly a student. For all I know they swapped out my surgeon for a student too. Literally have waited 40+ minutes to be seen by a doctor every time I went. I also scheduled early morning so I'm not sure what they are doing as I should have been their first of the day. The doctor I saw clearly never read notes either and was generally dismissive/rude. PA was decent enough though.

My husband had a surgery to add a trache to his throat. After 3 hours we had a conference and the surgery was successful. 3 hours later and he was dying because they dropped the thing in his throat. I couldn’t even pull the plug faster to save him the suffering because his brother in England wasn’t ready to let him go. He died slowly and he suffered.
