This is a good facility, well appointed apartments with modern updates in the apartments and general activity areas. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was because the hallways were VERY long, and interconnected. My mom would always have a difficult time finding her way back to her unit from eating in the cafe area; and would require help, every time she left her apartment. In my opinion, there needed to be benches here and there to stop and rest, and maybe some kind of color coding system to differentiate the hallways.

The staff was very helpful and made the whole tour informative. Just wished they had an opening in independent living.

TLDR: Short staffed, lazy, bedsores, unnecessary medication, loss of mobility, falls needing ER trips, dirty *Posting after she has been moved to avoid possible retaliation* My MIL was here for parkinson's dementia. When she was evaluated for admission, they said she wasn't at the highest level of care and they could handle the delusions and bad behavior that got her removed from assisted living. Two weeks later when she pulled the fire alarm, they said that she needed someone to be with her all the time or she couldn't stay because they couldn't handle her. They mark that they do showers when they don't. They have 3 CNAs during the day and 2 at night. I have not seen a single nurse any time I have visited. They don't have time to open the door for visitors so give out the codes. My MIL has fallen over and over again and the last time she broke and had to get plates and screws. When she got too rowdy and paranoid they would have to sedate her. Apparently, she was rowdy all day, every day. She slept through visits, wouldn't open her eyes and couldn't communicate. At the last visit to her new place, she was awake, could talk and seemed very happy to be able to participate in life. She can no longer walk because it was too hard to help her use the walker so they made her use a wheelchair. Because she was sedated, sitting in a chair for hours on end, she has a bedsore that has to be cleaned out multiple times and is on antibiotics. Please do not pay too much to send your loved ones to this facility that is no better than a rundown state facility!
