I am more than grateful for this group of lady’s that own this thrift store they have helped my dreams come true by helping me with my education and they have thought me to keep on fighting and never give up! everything they do for the community is so amazing. I look up to them so much! They are the sweetest people you will ever meet if you ever pass by their thrift store please stop by! they have so many classic and cute stuff in their store. They help me everyday to be better not only for my family but my community!:)

This used to be our favorite 2nd hand store in Wichita, we went in last weekend and was floored by the pricing. What happened? The prices went from thrift shop to botique. It's a shame we can no longer afford your shop. In response to the response of the store. If things had only increased by 1.00 I certainly wouldnt have taken the time to write a review about it. Some clothing only increased a dollar. Other items were unbelievably over priced. Used puzzles 10.00 a box. Household decor was increased by a lot. Children's items as well, which is a shame, bc I'd always let my children choose an item while shopping. I understand giving to the community, but the same community shops there, that can't afford retail.

Ok let me just say not all the woman who volunteer here are this way but some of these women seriously need to up their antidepressants! My mother moved here from Houston, Texas 6 years ago and moved across the street from this store. Her first morning after moving in as she was walking to her car a woman who volunteers at the store came out and proceeded to fuss at her about how nasty and dirty our apartments were because of the trash on the ground! What a great first impression. Then I was parking last year and a man parked in the parking lot to go into the store… as he gets out a ole crazy volunteer lady actually comes out to tell him ONLY CUSTOMERS CAN PARK THERE…ok… wait for it….. he says I AM a customer!!!! I busted out laughing. I also worked a function at Exploration Place with a woman from the League, she didn’t know where I lived( across the street) she was putting the neighborhood down and saying crazy nasty homeless people get all around the dumpster. Just looking so disgusted. I said… Are you seriously putting down the very people that your organization claims to help. Give me a break and grow some compassion. Your hearts are 3 times too small!

It's not a church. It's the women's assistance league. They work with the Wichita public schools to provide clothing, hats, gloves, etc. to kids.
