I had an implant placed several months ago and while the staff was very nice and the office was clean & professional, I had two grievances: (1) Their billing department & (2) The placement of the implant itself was not ideal (according to my dentist). Regarding their billing department, I was provided an estimate that was significantly less than what I was actually billed. While I understand the estimate is provided as a courtesy, the billing department assured me that the anesthesia would be charged at the in-network rate even if my insurance didn't cover that portion. I ended up receiving a bill from Green Lake Oral and Facial Surgery for the full out-of-network cost of the anesthesia. When I asked if they would honor the in-network rates, they wouldn't do it (even though the in-network rates were charged for the rest of the procedure). Regarding the implant itself, when getting the crown placed my dentist mentioned that the implant was not placed ideally. After going through several attempts to place the first crown, it would not fit into the implant. The second crown ended up fitting the implant but they had to create an entirely new one. For these reasons I wouldn't recommend going here.

I cannot recommend these guys enough. I just got all four wisdom teeth out (two impacted). I have been putting this procedure off for years due to a pretty intense dental fear. It took a dentist showing me pictures of them visibly rotting for me to finally make the call to Green Lake Oral and Facial Surgery. I am so glad I did. They made me feel so comfortable from the moment I walked in. I mentioned I was feeling very anxious about the procedure and they kept me distracted while setting up and right after getting me a medication for the anxiety I don’t remember a thing. Before I knew it I was slowly waking up and ready to go home! I hope to never need another tooth extraction, but if I do I will definitely be coming back!

This medical office was unusual in my experience, in that every single person I came into contact with, from the front desk people to the surgeon, was professional, skillful, friendly, accommodating, and did everything they could to ensure that I got the best possible care. I had a wisdom tooth removed, and it took me longer than normal to emerge from the anesthesia, but everyone was very caring and patient with me, and once I got home I haven't needed to take any of the opioid medication because I have no pain, and none of the anti-nausea medication either. I am pretty impressed, and would recommend this practice highly.

I recently had all four of my wisdom teeth removed. I can't not thank Dr. Epstein and his team enough! I have been holding off this procedure for years now and finally had the courage to do this. It was awesome that I was able to have my consultation and procedure done the same day. I was in and out in less than an hour. They walked me through every step of the way and made me felt very comfortable. I experienced no pain and really appreciated the clinic checking up on me after the procedure. I highly recommend this clinic to everyone!

Tell me more about the device that uses sound waves to vibrate water to break up wisdom teeth. Is the procedure bloody? Does it need anesthesia?

For the great majority of patients sedation is required to have a comfortable experience. A piezosurgery device can be used to make ultrafine cuts in wisdom teeth without damaging nearby soft tissue, nerves and arteries. In patients that have wisdom teeth in high risk positions a piezosurgery device can limit the risks and swelling associated with removal.

My friend had her wisdom teeth broken up by sound waves instead of them being removed. Have you heard of this? If so please answer this question. Highly recommend.

There is a device that uses sound waves to vibrate water to break up wisdom teeth. It is called Piezo surgery. We utilize that in our practice from time to time.
