At the age of 27, this was my first time being admitted to a hospital. I suffer from extreme anxiety especially regarding doctors, dentists, hospitals, new places in general. I was admitted about 5am for profusely vomiting blood and GI issues. The initial nurses and doctors were patient, kind, and professional. Until the lady came in to do my EKG, she was extremely unprofessional making snarky remarks regarding my uncontrollable anxiety body spasms, legs twitching etc. obnoxiously yawning as if she “didn’t have time for this” and didn’t show any sort of professionalism and acted like she didn’t want to be there, almost making a mockery of the situation. I was admitted to the ICU where I had two male nurses both named Rob, they were both great, very helpful and reassuring. I was eventually moved out of ICU into a shared room, I don’t recall all of their names but I had a nurse Ashley, and a mother-daughter duo who worked the south wing around room 2097. These ladies were extremely helpful, always checking in to see if myself and “bed B” needed anything, timely, professional, yet also very personable. They made my stay there a lot more comforting.

They currently have vaccine. If you have an Ascension Doctor you need to check with them or the county health web site.
We are following local and state government and health department guidelines for COVID-19 vaccine distribution. For the first doses of vaccine available, front-line healthcare workers have been prioritized. As vaccine appointments are made available in your community, additional information will be shared. Answers to frequently asked questions can be found on our website at ascension.org.

I go for knee rehab after replacement. I don't know what they work on overall. There is also PT in the main therapy building that is not part of my program. Call them and explain.
The supplemental insurance may be the problem especially if it’s an advantage type plan.
Yes
that is normal to keep some there for 3 hours or more. Every hospital does that and if not they should. They keep you for at least 4 hours for pain because they want to make sure he feels no more pain and is having no more trouble and is safe to go home
