Beautiful Carter Lake. Needed $10 vehicle day pass. Self service kiosk and ticketing available at entrance stop. Parking available at various places but got full. We got availability near Eagle Campgrounds. Has restrooms and picnic grounds. Excellent Marina and had a convenience store with a deck view of the Carter Lake.

Beautiful reservoir but the beach area parking gets packed early so plan accordingly.

As long as the Dog is well behaved. No incessant barking. Can not chase wildlife. My dogs had a ball. can not be tied to a tree. Must be on a leash.

It's been open. Was there last weekend and the water was super warm and great for water recreational activities. They were abiding the capacity law and were denying entrance late afternoon; so get up there early to avoid that. Have a great time

For hard sided self contained camping with previous reservations yes. For day use yes.
No just boats tubes rafts jet ski. Call main office or south shore store they can anser qeustions
There is SUP rentals on the south end of the reservoir
The deepest part of the lake is 180'.
I haven't been by recently but with the weather we've had lately there is no way it's frozen.
