Moved in 2 months ago and I have to say, I am not very impressed so far. Due to me moving from out of state, I had to rent sight unseen which usually is not a problem but in this case, it would have helped to actually see the complex. Upon move-in, I found that there were glue spots all over my walls and carpet due to carelessness from the vinyl floor installers. Had to complain multiple times but they ended up replacing a small square of carpet where the main issue was and told me to use goo gone for the rest. The apartments are poorly maintained which includes the doors. entry ways, and outside patios. They are all dirty and the carpet is stained in the hallways. As for inside the apartment, the bathroom fixtures are old and rusted. I have a first floor apartment and am continuing to find bugs in my apartment even after their "pest control" company came out (all they did was put some sticky bug traps and have yet to return). Also, not the apartments fault but my neighbors are extremely loud. If they are in the hallway, you can hear them so well it is as if they are standing in my apartment. Great area in Okemos but I would look elsewhere if I were you.

Pool is rarely cleaned, becomes very green sometimes, basketball hoop is gone and the court has not been maintained, takes a long time for someone to respond to work order.

Location is good and convenient. Julie, manager is very helpful in office. Problem- mice and ants and snakes. This is first level apartment close to woods. They called rose pest solutions but the problem did not solve and I don't think it will solve as there is building and infrastructure problems. Windows not sealed well. I hope the management makes it priority to solve these issues in ground floor apts.

Honestly, it's not a bad place to live but the office hours and pool restrictions have me hot this morning. I would have loved to express myself to someone in the office before taking it to Google but, it is what it is. Why would you shut down the entire pool for a few violations?? The pool & w/d (in unit) are the main reasons I chose to live here. Since I moved here in 2020, the pool has been inconsistently available. Excuse after excuse. "we're waiting on clearance" We all know the pool is supposed to open memorial weekend. Who dropped the ball? Open late and closed randomly. We only have three months with the pool as it is. I personally have done nothing wrong. Rather than close the pool to hundreds of residents, why not monitor better? Oh wait... You would have to have adequate staffing for that. The fact that the office is only open 1130-5 is absurd (the average American works 9-5).The fact that 9/10 I get the off site answering service (who can not answer/help with literally anything) is a huge waist of money (resident money). Same with living somewhere & paying for a pool I cannot use. Side bar, I've had to put in aprx 6 work orders for my drye since I've been living here. My rent has DOUBLED since moving here and I get less and less. Hopefully I can get a response this way ❤️
