One of the best spot to stay for the Ironman. Walking distance from town and the ski Olympic center. Cleaners were friendly. Front desk staff wasn't accommodating. Rooms are clean. We got small electrical shock by a wire in the room. Hopefully the first thing they fix is their electrical. Great place to stay.

Positive: The hotel was located near to the Lake Placid. Enough parking space. The front office staff were very helpful. The rooms were clean and spacious. We booked room with two queen beds and was sufficient for my family of 4 with two kids 16 and 12 years. Negative: Nothing

Positive: This hotel is pretty charming in a rustic way. The room is pretty big, table to eat or work, newer tv, good wi-fi. Breakfast was thoughtful!

This is the best value in Lake Placid. We had stayed at this hotel before about 12 years ago, we loved it then and we loved it this last time. I will plan to stay here again the next time we are in the area. It was our 37th anniversary and it was wonderful. Many different years we have traveled to the Caribbean for our anniversary. Only a few years have we stayed in north country in February. This hotel is a 10 minute drive to our all time favorite restaurant m, the Red Fox restaurant in Saranac Lake NY
