Rooms seemed to have been recently renovated. Specious room with comfortable bed. Bathrooms were a bit on the small side, especially in our room which had plenty of extra space in the room that could have been used to give a bigger bathroom. Great location in the Union. Overall a fantastic stay

You can't beat the location as it's on the beautiful IU campus. But it is a little worn down. So only 4 stars. Nice Starbucks inside the Union.

As an alumni, I have stayed at The Union many times. The rooms are still "classic" but the new beds, pillows, sheets, comforters are elegant. The room was exquisitely clean and the bath facilities clean and new. The perfect place to stay at IU Bloomington.
