Do not judge the outside! The inside is beautifully updated and the courtyard is peaceful and full of amazing flowers. They even upgraded my room and accommodated my late check in for no extra fees! It was just what I needed after a long day of hiking across campus with my incoming freshman. I’m sure we will stay again over the next 4 years! Thank you for a wonderful nights sleep and amazing coffee

i had planned on giving this place 5 stars because for the price it was really nice even tho my air conditioner stopped working in the middle of the night , but then this morning i dealt with the worst front desk person "Mike" I have ever dealt with in my life, it was about 11:30 am an my keycard stopped working halfway through putting my stuff in my car, I went to the front desk multiple times an every key they gave me wasn't working this is when mike starting getting extremely rude an aggravated with me an even raised his voice than when i told him i didn't feel comfortable having him walk me to my room to check the key (as a single woman traveling alone) he started yelling at me and lunging over the counter, and telling me no one else could help me even tho there were multiple other people available . I was planning on coming back here to visit again but if he is working here i honestly don't feel safe until this situation is dealt with. Luckily one of the housekeepers and maintenance were able to help me get into my room, but i was told this isn't the first time this has happened with Mike. i also forgot to share that if you get a room with the french doors the curtains are completely see through at night an everyone can see into your room so be aware an put some towels or something up , also what happened to reply from the owners that was here ? an why was it deleted

Very nice little place! Clean room, had a coffee maker, little fridge, and microwave, which was very useful! Received a free upgrade upon arrival to a patio room, with a wonderful woodland view. Cindy was extremely helpful, and gave us all the insider tips. Get the biscuits and gravy at breakfast, and skip the coffee maker in your room, they have fresh roasted, fresh ground coffee every day as well! Quiet, clean, secure, and close to just about everything. Would definitely stay here again!

The Cascades is a great little boutique hotel! My room was spotless and very cozy! I booked a deluxe room so had a fridge, coffee maker and microwave which was very convenient. Mike and Mark were so helpful in that I had to change my reservation at the last minute. He helped this to be seamless and easy. I highly recommend The Cascades and look forward to returning in nice weather so I can enjoy the pretty courtyard. I forgot to get the 2 ladies name on my checkout but they were also so helpful and friendly. I will be returning.

Hi Trish, yes, you can receive a 5% discount if you book directly with us. Thanks for asking.
Sometimes The Little Things Make The Biggest Difference Check in is 3 and check out is noon. One thing they do that I think is über cool is that they send you a text on your day of arrival when your room is ready for check-in.
