Hotel will not refund money for a cancellation made 10 months in advance of stay. Called, texted hotel Gen Mgr, Ms Emerson, multiple times with no response. Finally, got a front desk employee to admit she was there, and she would only speak through that employee, i.e. would not speak to me directly on a simple cancellation refund. Super weird. Said I needed to dispute the charge because the hotel was under different ownership. Be wary of booking here if your plans might change! You might not get your money back!

Stayed here when we went to visit IU. Stayed three nights. The hotel was very clean and the people at the front desk were very courteous. The breakfast that is served has a good selection to chose from. The only problem we had was getting the bathroom restocked. Called the front desk Wednesday and Thursday to get new towels and never received them. Used same towels 3 days in a row. But other than that I still will give it 5 stars.

No laundry room was a disappointment. The beds, sheets and pillows are always A+. Rooms clean, common areas not so much. HVHC feels clean and reasonably quiet.

Positive: The staff was super friendly and accommodating. Very good breakfast and extremely convenient location to IU. Negative: Wifi did not work for most of our stay.

They should, this one had dogs when we were there
It depends on what part of the university; it's a half-mile from the stadium/Assembly Hall area, but at least two miles from the Union and the 'Old Crescent' area of the original campus. It is not walkable to anything except the stadium area.
