Friendly staff. Clean room. Great breakfast. No complaints. The Bloomington Fairfield Inn seemed to be competitively priced. The room was on the small side, but it had a king bed, desk chair, dresser, bedside tables, fridge, microwave, and TV, suitcase stand, everything we needed. The price seemed to be a fair competitive price for Bloomington. I'd have to pay another $30 or more for a larger room. The breakfast was a cut above other hotel chains. As someone else noted, the crustless spinach quiche was very good.

Positive: The staff was great. Negative: We were there for six days. Breakfast was good except for two days. I was told this was because the hotel was waiting for its newest shipment (supply chain delay).

Rooms were fine, but our key card kept failing. We got one rescanned and then had one key that opened the outside door and one key that opened the room door. It was a little frustrating but luckily we didn't stay too long.

This hotel was nice amd quiet. The bed was comfy. I did not like the restricted air unit. I like the high constant fan on 63 degrees and it wouldn't go under 65. Definitely won't stay during summer due to this. Spinach soufflé at breakfast was delicious. The packaged sandwiches were hard and inedible. Coffee was empty so had to make a separate trip down to get coffee. There is coffee in the room but not something I care for. Also I enjoyed Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen for dinner across the street. For that alone I may come back. Maybe they can reprogram the air units so it isn't so hot on that west side of the building. Also it was 60 degrees and the heat was on in the room when I arrived. That is always discouraging. For that it gets a 4 from me.
