This is a gorgeous space to experience. I know thats not the most important thing about a library, but in addition to the small curated exhibits they rotate , the architecture itself, let alone the rotunda and its mural would make it a place worth seeing even if it wasnt staffed by capable and helpful people (it is) and a choice selection of books. AND what they dont have they'll help you pull through interlibrary loan. And I mean *obscure* stuff .. My first request was for the Heimskringla.. a collection of 9th century norse poetry.. and they delivered. I really should go back more often...

I've been coming to this library since I was two years old, and I have always loved it. Amazing staff, who are always very friendly and willing to help out. I also love that they have almost any book that I'm looking for, and if they dont they will recommend another place that you might be able to get it, or try to get it for you.

What's the procedure for obtaining a library card; can I do it online?

Library cards processing requires a photo ID, two pieces of official mail within the last 60 days. Children need to be present with the guardian who has the registration documents to get a card.
