There are many students that live in the city of Harvey it is terrible that the library closes very early and isn’t even open on Sunday anymore

I love my Harvey it’s where I live, to be honest I like the new library , but the atmosphere is terrible.. the first thing you see Is a security guard and you are asked what do want why do I have to interact with security ? I’m not saying they don’t need security but that’s not the first person you should see then I’m told to go to the desk where I can be help.. the unfriendly people at the desk try to help look like they know what they’re doing ..I start off by saying I’m ignorant and illiterate when it comes to computers 😂so I’m gonna need a little help, I was printing out something so I don’t get to the library very often since the hours have changed ,you’re unable to really use the facility like you want . It know they help with taxes so I asked for help they said they can’t help me with that all they could do was put me on the Computer🙄 well if I need help and you can’t assist me how that gonna work??? Very disappointed ☹️

Needed a place to meet with someone. When she and I were looking for a spot with an electrical outlet, a very friendly librarian suggested we reserve a room. That turned out to be the perfect place for us; we appreciated the idea. Even if you don't go inside, check out the innovative entrance. Openings in the roof cast light on the bricks in the shape of the library's initials. The only reason I didn't give five stars is that the weeds around the building might spread their seeds around the neighborhood. Not everybody is as concerned about weeds as I am, though... Will happily recommend the library to others.
