I experienced very bad racism here .I had gone to shop for instarcart and when I got to the cashier I was trying to pay and cashier (a huge masculine guy who seems like the only thing he knew was racism and working out was talking badly down on me . One guy who was behind me was asking him wether there is a problem so he can help him either through me out or arrest . Thank God there was this old guy who sympathized with me.I was able to pay and I left .this made me hate yelm in general.I have never gone there again since 2020

Super Awesome, Clean, Safeway Store!!! Thankfully the McKenna, WA Safeway Store open at Eleventy-thirty on a Saturday night (only place open that sold alcohol besides beer The friendly yet professional cashier was new-ish ——— and she handled a different type of transaction request, as if she were a pro! MOSTLY, I’m “So Super Happy”, about the other libations or “Other” drinking options available at most Safeway’s. I like that every Safeway store seems to always have some brand of plain ‘ol club soda in stock and on the shelf. That is mparatively speaking vs the - beer or wine sold only stores. 🤩 Produce seems to turn to rot much quicker than I recall- Otherwise it would have been a 5 star rate!

They have any grocery item you can think of, and their meat selection is top notch. As a bonus, every dollar you spend on groceries earns you a point towards cheaper gas.

Netspend, Cash App, Varo, GreenDot, cards like that you can reload at customer service. I'm unsure what two party checks are but I'm sure if you give them a call they can answer that piece for you
The staff are on point. Cleaning and masking. Doing their best. However, as has been common in Yelm...customers are not maintaining safe spacing, crowding in aisles and at check out. Masks below the nose... I admire the staff in how they keep faith inspite the customers being...kinda ah..
