It is a cute, eclectic mix of coffee house, donut bar and upscale gift shop. Coffee is good, donuts are fresh. The atmosphere is decidedly farmhouse kitsch. The staff has never been anything but warm and helpful. There are so many goodies tucked away on every surface, wall and corner. A delight for the eyes. Something new to see every which way you look. But, BIG but, it also makes it stressful to bring my children in. Little hands need constant minding with all the eye level items inviting them to explore. And since the wares are well-made and sourced from artists, as is my understanding, pricing reflects that. Making it all the more imperative my kids look but don't touch. I would love to see some more seating inside, but I know that floor space is at a premium. So is parking. Which is most of the reason I gave four stars. We would visit more often but there are very limited options for parking. What is available seems to be multiuse for the many businesses situated around Shiplap. Somedays, there just simply isn't a space available to park and visit.

I love this coffee shop. It makes the best Donuts around. The people are wonderful and also the store has so many things that changes all the time. Wonderful place to get gifts it's the place to go when I go to Yelm

My favorite place for great coffee and gluten free scones and cinnamon rolls. I love shopping for gifts and decor while my coffee is being prepared. The owners and staff are wonderful, and the space is friendly and peaceful. I live in DuPont and happily drive to Yelm for the coffee and atmosphere. It’s my favorite place to work when I need a break from my home office.

Everyone is smiling at Shiplap Shop! Me included because my Latte is delicious. Fast service and I feel like I've been going there forever on only my second visit because they are so friendly ♡ So much cute decor & gift items too!
