I haven’t been shopping here for that long, but this place is awesome. Call not a lot of “extra “” stuff, mostly just what you need. It’s pretty magical there is a plant shop at a wine shop and kittens! Reasonably priced and good service. Check them out

Small, expensively priced, not a huge selection. However they're friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, they have earth friendly products, and they sell some grains, herbs, coffees, and whole loose-leaf teas. So all considered it's an 'ok' store to support Yelm.

Best place to buy food for more reasons than can list. At coop you can even get "fast food" that is yummy and healthy ---ready made salads and sandwiches and need less amount of food when it is properly absorbed and metabolized in body...because is fresh and local and without toxic sprays or additives. . Co ops also usually have staff way more informed about what is in food and what it does than at any other kind of food store except for farmers markets which are the other best place to buy food from. So ONE reason to shop here is you Want to eat real food not chemicals and poisons (like polypropylene glycol--which is really anti freeze for vehicles---that if pets drink it --...they die..) that are put in chicken salad and other prepared foods on shelves and at grocery store deli in so many foods now in mainstream stores). And the staff and management are awesome.

My wife and I had been members of this co-op and love supporting a local community, love the wonderful fresh produce and treats that they have available there. I went to pick up my favorite sauerkraut (OLY Kraut) this evening lady at the checkout asked me if I was military and I replied yes. The lady then began to ask me if I had killed anyone and how horrible it is to be in the military and kill people or how bad it is just to be in the military and that I need to get out as soon as possible. I smiled and was polite and said I'm not there to kill people a lot of what we do is humanitarian aid and it's pretty awesome to help people out there she continued on about how killing people is bad I love supporting my community I love the co-op . In no way was her questioning appropriate or polite and I don't understand how someone thinks that they can ask such an inappropriate and baited question and then continue on about it. We all have a role to play in society and we all make our choices to serve where we feel we best fit, our careers are places that we can influence people for the positive or negative depending on the stance we take. Serving in the military is a way to honor our country and to support our fellow men, women and loved ones freedoms and ways of life. Yelm co-op I enjoy the products that you provide I enjoy most of the fun loving atmosphere and personalities in there I think we just need to keep ourselves in check on our own agenda when it comes to customer service.
